Is a little further up the hill and that has its advantages. It's quiet and peaceful with access to town by walking down the stairs or road 8min. And this would be perfect for anyone who enjoys walking tours! It is a dirt road so I don't recommend it for babies with strollers, or wheelchairs. It is perfect for a adventurous family who can handle of physical activity everyday. Although perfect for fit or athletic individuals I wouldn't recommend this if this is a challenge. Of course if you have a vehicle this is no problem. The view is very nice, the amenities is very nice, the space is clean every 2 days, and include everything you need.

The view, the terrasse, the beds , the cofe in the kitchen …. The location on top of the montain ❤️
Climbing the stairs to get there from the village but it is the price to pay for the view

It was away from downtown Mazunte and was very spacious. They provide real coffee.
The trees and bushes were overgrown so the view wasn’t like the photos- only if you stood in one spot could you see the sea. Wi-Fi rarely worked.
It was unfortunately not as tranquil as we hoped. Their cats fought and meowed through the night. Their roosters started cockadoodledooing at about 4am each day.

Lovely spot. Peaceful and private. The three cabañas are well separated. The king bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Good water pressure. Roomy patio with good furniture. Lovely view of the bay in the distance.
It’s up in the hills so if you’re walking it’s a steep climb coming home. But I don’t blame the property for this. And the isolation adds to the sense of peace and nature.

Very private little house on top of the hill away from the crowds. Some people mentioned climbing the hill is a little difficult / hard work. We found that if you use the staircase instead of the road it's no problem at all as it's quicker & easier. Nice big room with kitchen and pretty terrace. The owner's cat came to see us everyday to chill. Super sweet & friendly. The cat made our day :)
The seats/canapé covers outside need to be changed or washed. The owner responds super rapidly to any questions but be aware that as there is no face to face contact some may find it a little impersonal. It didn't bother us as Colada (the cat) was always on site if needed ;)

The location was quite central to all areas, quite private, and quiet at night.
We loved watching the sunrise each day over the ocean!
We would have appreciated a couple of more comfortable chairs to use inside (if the bugs were bad) or outside on the deck at the far end which had more shade - (could be folding ones).
My partner would have liked some hot water in the kitchen and a better shower head in the shower.

Being up in the trees and away from the hustle and bustle of Mazunte. The terrace was a great place to relax (with the friendly cats!) and we loved cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen. It was only a short walk to Mermejito beach for excellent sunsets.
As others have mentioned it is up a very steep hill with lots of steps which was sweaty with the heat! Worth it for being surrounded by nature. Take a torch for the nights.

The space was good enough, the bed was amazing and the property has everything you need for cooking.
There were some insects around, the access is hard and by night there are a few scorpions and snakes on the road.

The Place is a little bit uphill from town and - as mentioned - it’s highly recommended to take a taxi (between 100-120 pesos, depending on the the time of the day) if the luggage is too heavy. but once you get there you will find a beautifully furnitured and well equipped place which makes you feel like home instantly. we were looking for a place to live in peace with nature and we will for sure come back to this magical and calm place. … and we already miss the cat. Thank you for everything!

The casita was well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. It was spacious and we enjoyed our privacy. The view of the moonrise from the patio is breathtaking. We just hit the full moon and enjoyed the moonrise along w music from the reggae concert in town on our first evening. We enjoyed our stay and spent hours relaxing in the hammock, reading, napping and walking to nearby Playa Mermejita.
Fortunately we are fit, but the walk from town is a steep climb. This may be off-putting for some, but if you have mobility issues this will be impossible. Unfortunately this is not even mentioned in the property description. Additionally there is not a sea view, it is barely a sea glimpse from the lower of the 3 casitas, beware if this is important to you. Bring ear plugs to sleep at night as you will be surrounded by barking dogs.

the walk going back can be very dark at night and dusty.

the kitchenette, the coffee, the terrace
the location, almost impossible to get there, two taxis rejected taking me there and lastly we needed to walk with the Luggage through a dust, rock way like 30 min from a decent street

Casa Aditi was perfect for us. We love 5 stars and we also love camping and this was perfect. The casita had everything we needed, was clean, quiet, well cared for, and Aditi was super responsive. The location was great and we really enjoyed sitting outside o. the porch under the fans in the morning and the evening. Mazunte is definitely a walking and hiking town, so if you have physical challenges, rent a Moto. We will definitely be back to stay again.
Nothing to mention here.

The only good thing about this accommodation was a fridge.
We paid rather large amount of money especially for the view of the sea FROM THE ROOM, well there was a view of the sea but from our neighbours' room, so I did not get what I paid for and that was hugely disappointing, that they do this, that they sell a lie! In top of that - in four nights the room service was done just once (and I had to make sure it's done and when it was done it wasn't clean at all), plus you get there on nonexistent road with no lights on. For all those reasons I would NOT recommend this accommodation because it's definitely not worth the money, it's a ripoff!

Beautiful and peaceful.
The walk to the beach isn’t that far, but it is fairly steep. I enjoyed it.

The view is amazing and the huts are big with a lot of amenieties. Also, it's well protected against mosquitoes. 🦟
It was quite a hike up, especially in the heat.

The location was beautiful with a great view of the ocean (even though it was crazy stormy due to a hurricane!). Aditi was a super nice host and was able to accommodate my VERY last minute booking. I would have loved to stay longer but they were booked out!

This stay was all I could wish for! Very comfortable and beautiful.
- Staff are all very friendly and helpful, fast online communication too
- Thorough cleaning service every two days if wanted
- I love everything about the interior & decoration both in and outside
- I really enjoy having many different options of light sources
- Hot & cold shower and low tap ideal for washing sand off your feet
- The kitchen has pretty much all you need. Huge fridge, big jug of drinking water, pots and pans, kitchen tools, tableware, cutlery, blender, tea pot, coffee machine, etc.
- Overall nice and clean, but still quite a bit of cobwebs all around the rooms
- Lots of different types and sizes of bugs come inside (I guess they can enter inside easily despite having doors closed)
- Not super close to the beach and quite of a tough walk up to get to the property, but also not too secluded. Worth the tranquility & bit of view in my opinion (I recommend renting a scooter)
- Bed is quite small for two, but good for solo travelers
- Wifi is poor (as it is pretty much anywhere in Mazunte, but I’ve been to places where it’s much better)
- Nitpicking here, but would be great to have some cleaning cloths in the kitchen and a hook to hang the kitchen towel. Perhaps just a tip! Also some tupperware could really have come in handy.
Overall had a great time here, was always very happy to come home and enjoy all the luxuries this property brings and I would love to come back!

this property blew me away, it was amazing. the property itself was beautiful, set up in the hills. there was an amazing outdoor living space. the full kitchen was perfect to cook in. it was very quiet. everything was beautiful and tastefully decorated. mosquito net on the bed. the shower was with hot water and great pressure. very friendly cats. the property manager was so helpful and nice, even gave me recommendations for restaurants in the area.
it was quite the hike to the property, a half mile or more of many steep hills or stairs.

The place is really serene, just chill in the hammock and enjoy the view. The host was also really kind.
That it was fully booked and couldn’t spend another night😅

This place is incredible! Far enough removed from the noise of downtown, but close enough that it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to. Up in the mountains so the view is perfect, your own jungle paradise. The room was fantastic and very large with plenty of indoor plus an outdoor patio space. It was super clean, and there is a cleaning crew that changes sheets/towels/cleans the floors every two days which was perfect. We were there for 4 nights and originally thought we'd spend all day at the beach, but we ended up spending a lot more time in the mornings relaxing in the hammock and outdoor space because it was so peaceful. Coffee maker and coffee included! Incredible spot for a really affordable price.
It was hot, but that's expected. Some random bugs here and there, but also expected since you're in the jungle. The entire house has screens and the bed comes with a huge mosquito net so we didn't have any problems.

It was wonderful waking up each morning with a view of the sunrise from the bedroom. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen which made it easy to prepare a few meals. This is very helpful because the location is up on the hill from the main street with restaurants.
