Great people perfect location ...good vibes and energy!

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything, but for us it didnt matter as we only slept in the rpoms and spent most time on the beach or outdoor area sith hammocks provided!

Best accommodation in Zipolite

The best staff, amazing atmosphere. Perfect location in the beachfront. Basic accommodation. Beach bar. Nice restaurants close by. I booked for 4 nights but I'm staying 9.

Great location and vibes, but if parties can be LOUD!

Does what is says on the tin... right by the beach, super friendly staff and clean room.

Room gets very hot and if there are parties close by EXTREMELY LOUD. I'd recommend staying if you are confident you are either going to party or know there won't be parties.

I had a great stay at Bellalita, its right on the beach and provides a good home base to explore Zipolite.

Location is its best feature.

The water that was running in the common showers and sink tasted like salt, and it was definitely not clean. Pretty sure I got a stomach infection for brushing my teeth with it. I don't know where they get their water, but it shouldnt be salty. Also the room we got was claustrophobic to say the least, it didnt even have a proper floor, half of it was just a sandy mess with some broken tiles on top. The walls were filthy, I doubt theyve ever been cleaned. The bed and pillows were just nasty.

Be careful before you book

Nothing, literally

Everything. It is so wrong not to mention that bathrooms and showers are shared and I didn't have an ocean view. Everything was very dirty and the bed and mattress was sooo old that I have now a problem with my back. Towels were dirty and bathrooms were disgusting with bugs. Honestly, the all experience was awful. And I know staff was amazing and location was great but that is not everything.

This was my unique and perfect Oaxacan Pacific Beachfront hotel experience!! I LOVED that my room was rustic and beachfront, and I was serenaded by the sound of the crashing waves 24 hours!! My windows looked out on the majestic waves of the Pacific Ocean!

Great stay! Best value for money in Zipolite, would highly recommend.

Perfect location! Cannot get a better location in Zipolite than Ballelita. The price was also very cheap and great value for money. Alex (the owner) and the guys are very friendly and make you feel welcome. We also loved our room over looking the beach.

No complaints although bathroom facilities could be slightly improved.

Very good

The staff were all very sweet and made the best margaritas in zipolite ;) I loved being right on the beach and in the centre of town. The cabana with sea view and balcony was cute, peaceful. I felt very relaxed. Hammocks in the shade outside. There was a powerful fan in the room which was a bit loud but worked well in the humidity

The bedding was a bit threadbare and not the best quality. Would be better to have cushions for the sunbeds.

Ballelita is very close to the main street with all the restaurants, and my “room” not very expensive. I was as shown in the photos, no surprise on that end, the room was small, but it was expected! The staff was very welcoming !!

Wifi did not work well. It was not only in the hotel but in the whole village, I guess this is common in Zipolite

when you step out of your room you face the ocean! the staff is so lovely and is taking good care about everything. Staying at Ballelita feels like family. It would always come back to this little paradise.

the location was excellent there was not drinking water readily available but they did provide it from the bar kitchen during opening hours if requested

they could do with a sign at the front of the hostel as we arrived without internet and spent a long time walking up and down the beach trying to find it our room was dirty - there was sand on the floor when we arrived and a pair of dirty knickers hanging from a nail on the wall

Superb

The location was perfect, just a few steps from the popular area of town, right on the beach. Super chill vibe, chairs and hammocks under a bit of shade, guests who just want to chill. Bar is only open till 7pm, so no rowdy late-night stuff.

The room didn't have enough hooks on the walls to hang my wet clothes, but there were a couple so that's a very minor complaint.

The mattress was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on!! It was actually painful with all the springs sticking up out of it, mayb I just got unlucky but it was terrible I couldn't sleep on it!!

A very simple hotel with a friendly helpful owner.

The location is perfect with direct beach access and a few steps to the the main street (Adoquin) where most of the bars and restaurants are.

What I am about to say did not bother me at all. I like BASIC and that is what you get. Just four walls and a bed with not much else in the way of furniture. The linens and towels are minimal but just fine. They provide no toiletries and there is no room safe.
