Top step from main bedroom is dangerous so extra care is needed , parking is a bit of an issue as dead end street but it is what it is as there is no way round this

Good effort but poorly lit and some areas with NO lighting (baffling that host thinks that’s okay)

Bed was comfy and fresh. Bathroom nice. Kitchen nice and useful with most things to hand.

Lights in dining room and landing not working. Asked host for help but ignored. Needed a place to work and have dinner after travel but lack of lighting made that annoying and no reply from host was a poor show.

Lovely place to visit which would be comfortable for a few nights or longer.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely quality of fixtures and fittings including bed linen, mattresses/pillows, towels and hand soaps etc. Blackout blinds in the bedrooms added to the general comfort of our stay. It’s in a very central location too.

Just what we needed

Lovely little house. The bedding and bed were particularly good. Felt like premium hotel quality yet with the space and flexibility of having a kitchen and garden.

Some basic items in the kitchen like towel or oven gloves and foil to keep the oven trays clean.

2nd bedroom tiny,unable to get out of bed, internet broken, tv not working, iron plug taped with masking tape, no washing machine. Still awaiting data purchase refund a week later.

Everything was nice and clean easy to access the house lockbox located at the property no deposit needed all was great very comfortable beds and pillows bath and shower was really nice happy with my stay would recommend

Overall, the property was clean but uncomfortable and poorly suited for a restful

The bathroom and toilet were very clean.

The rooms were very small, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. In one of the rooms, the window could not be opened, making it hot and difficult to sleep. In both rooms, the beds were pushed together, the spaces were poorly ventilated, and the kitchen was not well equipped. The stairs were narrow with many different levels, making it difficult to go up and down. Overall, the rooms were not comfortable for sleeping or relaxing.

The lighting is a little dim in the bedrooms so arriving late at night it was tricky to see well. Also the sash window in bedroom is broken so I had to use the fan (would have preferred to just open the window). Getting an estate car in and out of the road (due to parked cars ) was challenging. Would be helpful to warn people about the bathroom step - my friend fell down it in the dark! Luckily no injury but probably woke the neighbour

Short stay to visit family in Bishop's Stortford

Lovely house. Very well finished with all mod cons. Lovely art work, comfy beds and quality furnishings. Coffee machine an added bonus!

Although parking is available outside the property gaining access to the road is very tight. This did not affect our stay but large vehicles may struggle.

Fantastic place to stay

Very modern and clean, very comfortable bed, on a quiet road in a nice neighbourhood.

Surrounding roads are quite narrow to get to the property.

Not as expected

The property was well equipped and clean. We would have welcomed a quick tour of the property and facilities offered on our arrival.

There was no parking at the property, we had to park 7-10 mins away, depending on availability of on street parking nearby, which proved hard work with a one year old, pushchair and the usual paraphernalia that you have to take every time you go out. It was a long walk to town. We didn't see the host in the 2 days we were at the property but the host did reply to text messages. The property had 2 bedrooms, one had a double bed, but you were unable to get down either side and had to access it from the bottom of the bed, the room was very cramped, the other bedroom was a nice size and had room for a cot. The heating was on a pre-set timer which only came on in the early evening for a few hours which meant for a chilly stay with a baby. We also had issues obtaining hot water. I would respectfully suggest the availability of a stair gate at the bottom and top of the very steep staircase for safety reasons, and obtaining a parking permit for the property to aid an easier stay for the guest.

Lovely house, spotlessly clean, super comfy beds. Great location. Well kept low maintenance garden which would great in the summer!
