Stunning 3 bedroom apartment in Harlow, Essex

Everything was clean and up to standard- the host was responsive and welcoming

It's like the Dr Who Tardis - looks a bit dull and ordinary from the outside, but inside is shiny, gleaming, clean and spacious! It's really well renovated, with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen, and a comfy, well planned living room with two settees and a large dining table with a modern TV with Netflix etc. The built-in washing machine, fridge, oven and dishwasher looked brand new, and the apartment had everything we needed regarding cooking and eating. I really appreciated the little touches, like clean, "proper" dishcloths, a variety of tea bags, spices, foil and cling film. The host was always responsive and helpful if we needed anything. It is just a few steps away from a convenience/paper shop and pharmacist and 5 mins from Aldi. It's round the corner from a bus stop into Harlow and walking distance from lots of green spaces including the lovely town park (remember to visit Pet's Corner and the cafe!). We also walked to Harlow museum and walled garden which I'd highly recommend. One surprise was how quiet it was! I'm sensitive to noise, and you'd expect some noise, given it's a housing community just off the main road. But it was so quiet and peaceful! I slept so well (the comfy bed helped too!) because the neighbours made no noise, and even with the window open at night, there was no noise at all. We have struggled to find good quality accommodation on Harlow - we come to visit family - and we've stayed in some real dives 😱. This is by far the best in Harlow and we'll be back again.

Parking on the street was occasionally tricky especially after 6pm. We always found a space but sometimes it was down the road, which wasn't really a problem. Of course, Harlow itself isn't known as a tourist destination, but the apartment is really convenient for visiting other places in Essex and the train to London takes only about 20 minutes from Harlow town station.

Location, standard of cleanliness

The property was very clean and quiet. The location was also perfect as there were multiple grocery shops and Harlow Town Centre was only 20-30 minutes walk away
