A stressful and deeply disappointing experience, we never accessed the property, received no support

Unfortunately there was nothing positive about this experience. We never gained access to the property so I cannot comment on the breakfast, location or any facilities.

The owner was completely uncontactable on arrival at 7pm. The pin provided for the lockbox did not work and we were given two different pins, neither of which worked. After contacting Booking.com three or four times, the owner eventually answered and advised the property would not be ready until 1am. No callback was ever received and we were left with no choice but to request a refund and sleep in our car.

Me and my wife booked a weekend here as the pictures looked great. However upon arrival it looked nothing like the pictures on the add from the outside so would dread to think how the inside was. We arrived at check in time, no access to inside the building, knocked on no answer, rang the phone number on the advertisement got no answer. Had to get hold of booking.com, they got through to the owners who said was going to contact us but 30 mins still nothing. In total we sat and waited 2 hours and still got nowhere had to book a premier inn and cut our weekend away short! The building is up for sale and looks derelic! Would not recommend booking to stay here.

Horrendous experience

Nothing! I didn’t stay but left the property 5 min after getting there due to my arrival experience

The property resembled an HMO and I was greeted by a visibly drunk female manager who was verbally aggressive and actually assaulted my companion by kicking him in the back. The building smelt strongly of drugs, appeared dirty and in no way resembled the photos on booking.com website. After almost a week I am still waiting for a refund. The property owners are ignoring all requests for a refund .

Just a small concern regarding the fact that some people may have needed a shower mat for when they shower plus the fact that a second pillow should have been provided for a double bed but other than that no complaints.

DIGUSTING, FILTHY AND NOT THE SAME APARTMENT AS IN Photos (check mine compared to the advertisement)

*READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS* Nothing to like. It was the most disgusting apartment I've ever seen, and does not 8j any way reflect the photos as they are clearly not the same apartment!

No key in lockbox on arrival, landlord had to let us in but could not provide a spare key. So we couldn't leave. Dirty, unclean, cracked, essentially like a crack den all round I couldn't believe my eyes. We walked out after 15 mins, charge backed the transaction and booked somewhere else.

Unfortunately expire suits is just a con. False advertisement to the maximum. We walked in and walked straight back out again. The main front door had a big hole in it with kitchen towel to fill the hole. The room was only worthy of sqoters and such like. It was a disgustingly dirty, cigarette ends all over, not at all clean it was just a bed sit. So obviously we came straight back home. Very disappointing as the rooms on the fake page looked nice, where they got those pictures from??? I do really think that i deserve a refund. I use your site alot but now having second thoughts and it's not good for you're company either

Excellent location but the filthiest and unkempt property ever, rip off in price and a disgrace!

Excellent location to the beach and nightlife. It was a roof over our head with a secure door. This is why I have given a rate of 2/10, 1 point for each of the above

From first looks there was a large pile of disposed items outside the door and windows. The exterior decor emphasized the lack of maintenancek for the rest of the house. The stairs and hallway stunk and carpets were stained. The room had nice flooring and that’s where the positives stops. Walls, edges and corners were filthy. Most of the the items in the house were damaged or in poor condition. The bed and sheeting were grubby, and not fresh bedding. There was a duvet underneath the sheets to add comfort as the mattress was awful and rotten with stains. There was only one hand towel which was dirty with hand marks, we had to go out and buy toilets, which we also slept on top of. The TV has no service, there was no internet hub which matched the details we were given. The shower room was grubby with black hairs on the floor, and duck tape was used to cover cracks in the tiles. There was no toilet paper. The water was like warm at best. Our wardrobe space was 2 plastic coat hangers on metal rods on the wall. The decor looked like it was unfinished and the pictures were either broken or had embedded black dirt. This was a hovel and looked like emergency short term accommodation for those unfortunately evicted or homeless. For the price this was appalling and should cost no more than £30! I never write reviews whether good or bad, but I feel that future customers must be alerted of how poor this place really is. Do not stay here unless it’s an emergency!

Extremely unclean

Unfortunately there was nothing to like about this accommodation.

On arriving at this accommodation we had to wait for the shop keeper to rush around cleaning our room. When we eventually got access to our accommodation the first impressions where bad as all the corridors leading to our room where extremely dirty. Our room was really dirty and dusty, the bedding was all ripped and stained with what looked like blood. We spoke to booking.com and the host which was the shop keeper from next door and we was offered another room. After waiting another 30 minutes for out second room to be cleaned we went inside the property to find the host removing the dirty bedding that we had already complained about and putting it on our bed in the room that was been prepared for us. This room was just as bad, it was very dirty and dusty all the sofa was ripped. At this point we was not willing to stay and we asked the host for a refund in which he got very aggressive and wouldn't give us a refund and also wouldn't reply to booking.com so they could refund us. This is the worst experience I have ever had with booking a stay and the most unclean accommodation I have ever seen. I would certainly not recommend that anyone books this as you wouldn't most definitely be disappointed.

Scammed took my money and never stayed in the place

Check in was supposed to be 3, had no update from owner how to get in the property called and text with no response. Went to accommodation at 4.15 and was shown in by someone off the street who was off his head on drugs. He gave us key code and opened it with no key in it, he then went up to the rooms we had booked and put a code in on the door so EVERYONE but the customer can get in the rooms. The rooms smelled of weed and cigarette smoke and there was someone in one room and the other one the bed had been slept in and not made ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING there was a lad on the landing sprawled out and another stood with a pit bull type dog Contacted the owner again with no response at this time still stood out on street watching ppl coming and going for their daily fix. A girl turned up off her head and said she was the cleaner sprayed some airfreshner then went to another room. While stood on street passers by were telling us this happens every week and if you do get in you are not secure as others are using the rooms and have access to everything We booked another accommodation and received an email at 5.30 to give us the code numbers for door then received another email just before 6 to say our rooms were ready, this is unacceptable 1 week later my messages have not been read, this person is taking money from ppl and not coming up with the goods in my eyes it's fraud I had this booked months before and since the place changed name and presumed changed ownership

We didn’t like anything, the room was disgusting, the toilet has soggy tissue all over it, no soap in the bathroom or towels. Nail clippers and shaving foam inside the bathroom cupboard which was also filthy. The bin was full and covered in gross sticky looking stuff. The sofa was filthy, no third bed made up which was requested, just a dirty duvet and pillow shoved in the wardrobe. The kitchen work tops were filthy, cupboard doors had streaks of food down them. The floor was sticky and you stuck to it as you walked on it. The rug was vile and had tobacco and half cigarettes in it. The furniture was glass and all cracked. Now for the bed, I’ve never seen anything so disgusting in a hotel, thick dust on the headboard, dirty bedding, the flat sheet was inside out so probably just been turned inside out and put back on after the previous customers. Questionable stains on the bed frame too. The breakfast area floor was disgusting with thick dust and dirt all around it. Along with at the side of the fridge and wardrobe. The room had not been cleaned at all, probably for a long time. The room smelt of week and the entrance to the room was covered in dirt and a dirty handrail. When speaking to the owner he walked upstairs and went to get the cleaner who said she had let someone use the room briefly as there’s wasn’t ready, unbelievable. Safe to say we left immediately after what we saw and had to find another hotel. Definitely avoid, this place shouldn’t even be allowed to advertise on here.

The neighbour’s where up most of the night a car was beeping a shouting for drugs from tnem we where even woken up at 3/4am with someone asking for them. Obviously they had the wrong room.

Disgusting!!

The location was the only positive I could think of.

After spending what seemed forever, looking for 103 cambridge street (which doesn't exist)it was actually 99 cambridge street. The owner did not respond to phone calls or messages for hours, meaning we were unable to get into our room. When we got into our room eventually, it hadn't been cleaned after the stay before! A woman came out of room 2 apartment and said she has been rang up to clean our rooms. When we went back to our rooms (2 apartments booked) they were both dirty, blood stains on the duvet, no toilet roll, no towels, no cups, a disposable glove covering the smoke detector, wifi code given didnt work, bin full of rubbish, stains and dirt over spare duvet that we needed to use on the sofa bed. From 5am in the morning, the owners dog started barking, numerous men knocking, coming, and going from the owners room. We had been told there were parking spaces but there wasn't any parking. DISAPPOINTING is an understatement!!

Well on arrival nobody seem to know what they was doing. Not very welcoming, no keys given, then were done start with the "so called" apartment. Nothing like described, sink fill of pots on entering and looked unkempt then to be told there hasn't been a cleaner in, this didn't fill me with much hope thinking that the beds had not been changed after the last people, stains all over bedding. TV not working. 1 knife,1 fork, 1 spoon and a tub full of tea,coffee, and sugar all mixed, if you want a drink with no sugar then sorry to have to fish the coffee beans out of the canister 1 by 1.

I didn’t like how unclean it was. I didn’t like the smell coming from the bathroom. I didn’t like the dried nasal mucus on the wall above the bed. I didn’t like 3 people knocking on the door claiming we were in their room. I didn’t like how hard it was to contact the host upon arrival.

Very happy with accomodation very tidy had all mod conditions and was very polite and can't wait to book again was only few mins away from train station which was so.handy as got disability the property met all my conditions hope to see them again soon thank you

The address was wrong on booking.com and booking confirmation It was not clear how to get into the apartment There was no heating and no hot water on the night time and therefore no shower. There was no parking available on site There was one towel with holes in it The floor was dirty behind and under the bed There were dirty shoe prints in the shower and on the bathroom floor
