Comfortable, relaxing and just lovely ☺️

The property was central, immaculately clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and, although there was a pub next door and you could hear people talking, it didn’t go on late and didn’t disturb our sleep at all. The owner was lovely and gave us all the details in plenty of time and also her phone number in case we needed it.

The only downside for me was that, try as I might, I couldn’t work the heating! However, I think that is more on me than the system and if I’d have rung the owner I’m sure she would’ve helped, it’s just it was late at night and I didn’t want to disturb her.

One of the best short term rentals I have been in!!

I was looking for a more 'boutique style interior look' stay and once I saw the mid-century G-Plan sideboard on searching a booking I was IN. Turns out I was not dissapointed. The interior of this gorgeous apartment was 'high-end mid century', deliberately so, to attract design lovers like me. The simplicity and styling of the bed room excellently chosen 'sixties' furniture, including plenty of good lighting options and plugs. The room was perfect, excellent mattress, good heating ( I went end of September ) and totally quiet. The rest of the apartment was very, very calming, a good modern sofa for relaxation, plenty of lighting options, good spaces for laptop use and it all felt brand new. Just I min to the promenade and 5 to local High Street it was a great location. Host Kelly and her apartment is highly recommended and I certainly will book again. Great value too!!

Location was superb, the property was spotlessly clean, everything you could need was provided, wifi was excellent, bed really comfy

Pub next door that plays loud music until midnight. Not totally transparent about parking - there wasn't really free parking readily available. Upstairs neighbours had kids that were loud from about 6.30-7am onwards and there was this weird bark/squark/alarm that could be heard but I'm unsure what it was - definitely not natural e.g. a real animal, though as it was quite deep and too repetative.

Lovely flat , modern & clean. Location excellent.

There is a pub next door which is great but they have a roof terrace with music playing so it was slightly noisy so anyone with kids would find it a bit loud but the sun was shining so if weather not so good might be less loud 😉

Lovely apartment in a central location

It was perfect for our weekend away. Just the right size apartment for us, the garden was a bonus (especially in the sunny weather) Everything we could need was provided, great decor, and spotlessly clean. Easy and concise instructions on how to get there and how to access the apartment on arrival. Central location, short walk from train station and all town centre amenities.

It's in an excellent location, in the centre of everything so only a couple minutes walk to everything. The flat itself was gorgeous and exceeded all expectations that we had.

A quick and cosy stay

Everything was perfect. I didn’t personally stay here for a holiday, as I am local and just needed a quick accommodation while my house was being renovated. But, that really stressful week was made so much easier because of how brilliant this apartment was. Price is spot on and location is ace. If you’ve never been here before, even better because everything is on your doorstep, beach across the road. Shops are like a few minute walk away, unless you’re a snail like me. I see people mention the bar/beer garden next door, I stayed in the week and noticed a little bit of noise until like 11pm, but it didn’t bother me personally. A total hidden gem, the decor is cool too. I would stay here again, I highly recommend. Thank you Kelly :)

I didn’t dislike anything. Maybe a light in the garden when you’re returning to the apartment because it is very dark.

Great location, very clean and excellent facilities

We have stayed here once before and really enjoyed it again. The music at night was clearly heard through the walls which was irritating when trying to sleep. But did go off at the time noted on the pub website. Would be good to have bedding for the sofa bed, but we were ok with the blankets. We enjoyed our stay, thanks

Lovely place to stay, perfect for where we were going. Nice and clean. Lots of interesting, quirky vintage artifacts around the place. Owner left lots of items for cooking, including some foodstuffs which we thought was nice. Highly recommended.

The flat was very nice, clean and plenty of space. Lady was nice

Parking wasn't easy and we had to park around the corner. The shower did not work and we had to use the flat upstairs to shower. Occupant upstairs walked about all night on the 1st night so had trouble sleeping. Second night there was a karaoke in the bar next door, we were not told, attempts to see if they'd turn it down did not work well, a thin wall between there and the bedroom and lounge, this went on until 1215 at night and glasses being cleared there after. So no one slept until nearly 1am. Really tired on a 5 hour drive home. Messaged property, they were very sorry but no offer of refund. Avoid at the weekend if you want to sleep Such a shame as the property itself was quite comfortable.
