As a disabled lady with a scooter it was a wonderful experience as my scooter fold and it went in easily and out again and charging it was no problem. The whole apartment smelled amazing and was super clean it felt like home away from home. Rozanne constantly made sure and stayed in contact to make sure we want for nothing. I can honestly say this is just what a stressed out disabled lady needed. My son and husband found it a fantastically wonderful experience

The apartment had a wonderful sea view. It was very clean. Great location and keyless doors was great.

Very expensive for what you get. No welcome pack, no tea coffee, milk or sugar, haven't experienced this in anywhere I've been for years, especially at this premium cost. No folder to tell you about the area etc.. Tiny double bed in a very big bedroom. No dressing table or chair in the bedroom. No pictures on any of the walls in the whole apartment. Very uncomfortable sofa and 2 very wobbly uncomfortable chairs at the table. Had to use sofa cushions to sit on them. Poor quality finishings, skirting board has been screwed back on and not filled or painted. Poor quality crockery. Literally just a sofa bed, chair, table and 2 chairs and a bed was the only furniture in the whole apartment.

Beautiful view

The view is outstanding a comfortable living room & kitchen with dinning in the bay window. A set of 4 plates, mugs, cordial glasses & cutlery. Necessary pots & pans also basic kitchen utensils. Sufficient to cook whilst staying.

Very firm matress, room for a king-size bed in the room. A double the current size. No, Telly for a morning lie in :). A number of flights of stairs to the main living area. The bathroom is down a flight of stairs from the bedroom. Important to note if you have mobility issues.

Quiet and comfortable in good location.

Instructions were OK. It wasn't very clear which flat is which, there are front and back entrances to the property (different for individual flats) and once we worked it out all worked fine. The location is good on the seafront even if you do not have views over it.

The flat is marketed at potentially 4 people staying yet there are only 3 places to sit comfortably. You have an outside space here which would be attractive but at present this is just a concrete area with a few strategically placed weeds! This is a seaside location and people will want to sit outside, it would not cost much to make this an attractive feature rather than something to close the blind on. It also feels a bit mean at the prices charged that there is absolutely nothing in the place in the way of a welcome pack (even down to no salt and half a loo roll!). Many people will arrive late and at least an offer of soemthing there when you arrive would be good.

The equipment was a little lacking. There was only one saucepan and one baking tray. We like to cook for ourselves but that was difficult. Also the sofa bed which was the only place to sit was very uncomfortable.

Could have checked in earlier as nobody in night before did ask host but wanted us to book another night , thought this was greedy as paid enough for 2 nights stay ! No blind in bathroom . Too many rules and regulations when checking out , We’re grown adults and know how to clean up after ourselves! We have a holiday home of our own but found the list of do this do that too much !

Okay, but disappointing in some respects.

It was very clean and neat. The apartment also had a washing machine and dishwasher which was very nice. The room was very nice. The bath was great. The shower had a very nice function to be economic with water and electricity use.

The property description says that there is wifi throughout - which is not true. There is only weak wifi access in the living room area, and not always. The description also said that there would be cleaning supplies. However, there were no cleaning supplies. I cannot buy a whole bunch of cleaning supplies such as dishwashing liquid, refuse bags, etc., and have to leave it behind as I cannot take it with me. I understood this to be a part of the deal. The check-out did not go smoothly. I got a message with lots of checkout details about 30 minutes before I was hoping to leave. These details should have been sent the previous day. I have a sensory disability and I have to manage practical tasks in a very specific way. Finding out things like these 30 minutes before I leave makes it impossible for me to manage it.

Absolutely perfect location if your wanting a family beach trip like us! Very clean, has everything you'd require as self catering so you can cook yourself or your family a meal. The hosts were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here whether alone, couple or small family travellers.

Amazing and very spacious seafront apartment

Location was fantastic, seafront and only a short walk to the pier, cafe and restaurants. The morning sun comes through the bay window in the mornings so it’s perfect to watch the world go by, including watching the tide come in and out. The bedroom is located at the back and has a comfy mattress - it still has natural light. The living room and kitchen area area are massive with a separate griller and oven.

Modern, roomy apartment with stunning views over the water. Great location.

In the area for work and came across this gem. I am happy to say the photos don't do justice to the reality! The views over the Humber are breathtaking. The whole apartment is done to a very high standard, fresh and modern with all the amenities you would expect - fast WIFI, large flat screen TV, ironing facilities and, most importantly, a comfy bed. The location is perfect for commuting with some quality eateries within walking distance. The leisure centre is 500m away and the promenade is across the road for a walk. I plan to become a regular whenever I am in the area.

Stunning views, great location and really comfortable apartment.

I have been visiting Sherwood for many years and was excited to come and stay again now the B&B has been developed into self catering apartments. I was amazed at the transformation! I stayed in Lapwing, the ground floor apartment which has a dedicated parking space at the back. The flat was spacious, light and airy with spectacular views over the estuary - a bird watchers paradise. the kitchen is fully kitted out with with a large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again.

The owners were so warm and friendly. Felt like I'd known them for years. I now class them as friends. The view from my room and the room itself were excellent.. I'd move to Cleethorpes tomorrow purely for the benefits to my mental health. Absolutely fantastic.
