Staying at The New Found Lamb

I stayed at The New Found Lamb 15th to 21st February 2026. Coming from London the journey on the A1 and then A46 was smooth and hassle free. The property is in an excellent location 5 minutes drive from the sea front and 15 minutes with a brisk walk. The Coop and Sainsbury Local just a few minutes drive and Tesco Superstore 10 minutes drive. There is ample free parking in the surrouding streets. The property is well appointed with two spacious bedrooms and a large kitchen with all necessary amenities including a washer/driver machine and dish washer. Ample towels were provided. The stay was very pleasant and highly recommended at a competive price to rent.

We could not get the dryer part of the washibg machine to work. Perhaps leave instructions. All else excellent.

Well equipped kitchen with basics like tea and dishwasher tablets. Good sized bedrooms. Large bathroom and excellent shower.

The heating wasn't on when we arrived, but it didn't take too long to heat up. Couldn't get the keys into the key lock easily, bit annoying.

We visited on Tuesday late evening and read note about bins were Tuesday but the bins not empty, as we don’t know which to put as all full.

Nice Convenient Stay a Short Walk from Cleethorpes Sea Front

The property is clean and nicely decorated with adequate facilities for a couple of nights' stay. The location is a relatively short walk to the sea front and town centre.

Could not get the internet working despite instructions being included in the welcome pack about what to do if the internet doesn't work! The lighting in the main hallway is a little harsh. The immediate surrounding area/street is a little lacking in character. The lockbox on the front of the property, containing the keys, is very obvious/exposed to passers-by - would have preferred a little bit more of a covered/private entrance.

Location was perfect for what we wanted. Close to town and seafront.

Parking is on street nearby. Sometimes we were able to park right outside, sometimes it was a bit of a walk but we always managed to find somewhere.

Internet didn’t work during our stay. The network was none existent, wasn’t a major issue for us but if you needed to do some work while here would be a problem. There is instructions in the information pack to contact network provider if it’s not working so I’m guessing it’s a common problem! They were a bit short on cutlery and the bathroom door lock was broken! Otherwise great stay!

Enjoyable stay everything perfect just lack of seating for four

Had a lovely weekend loved the decor and cleanliness and long bright hallway comfy beds ! The only thing was not enough seating for four another wee 2 seater sofa instead of chair would be a thought

Excellent property with good support. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, beautifully decorated (with a sense of humour as well :) )and walking distance of the sea front and my family I was visiting. Broadband was very fast. Owners response to issues via phone and booking app was good .

Only minor niggles was the heating was on hive and no instructions on the property how to boost. Once we got it on it was lovely and warm. The bath seems to leak although having a shower was fine. The android TV had no terrestrial channels but you could manage with streaming apps if needs be.

Superb

It was in an excellent location, it had everything that you needed, we did have an issue with the television, which the host did come round and try to sort out, apart from that it was very clean and had everything you would need plus loads of room for us and 2 grandchildren.

with 2 grandchildren it would have been nice to have been able to get the television on straight away but luckily we had brought some colouring and toys with us to keep them entertained.

Exceptional

Love this place, so clean and modern. They've thought of everything. Its a perfect home from home. There was a pint of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar in the pots. There's a dishwasher and washing machine - they've even left dishwasher tablets and washing tabs and conditioner in case you've forgotten yours. The beds are so comfy too. We'll definitely be going back.

There wasn't much in the back courtyard area - just needs a table and chairs and a bbq and it will be perfect for summer.
