Papiano is a well-loved traditional Tuscan property with beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, and original features. This spacious farmhouse has been split into two two-bedroom apartments and boasts a beautiful private pool. It is ideal for two families holidaying together who want private time but have the facilities to be together, with 2 fully equipped kitchens.
Dining al fresco is a treat either under the covered loggia, or the gazebo and there is a wonderful pool area for relaxing and sunbathing. There are also swings, and a ping pong table - the owners have thought of everything.
In total there are 5 bedrooms, and the property sleeps 12.
The location is enviable, with country/mountain views, yet within just 4kms of a medieval village with restaurants, bars, gelaterias, bakeries and supermarket. Set on the edge of the UNESCO world heritage site of the Casentinesi Forests National Park, this villa is ideal for hiking, and there are cycling, riding, golf and wine tasting opportunities. It is an ideal base to visit medieval castles and villages, ancient monasteries, and the churches of Casentino Valley. The major Tuscan cities of Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Chianti, Montepulciano, and Montalcino are reachable by car.
