We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return one day!

Cristina was very warm and welcoming. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly! The property and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. They had a beautiful pool. It was clean, we felt safe. It was easy to find. We were very comfortable in the unit we stayed in and had plenty of room. The WiFi was excellent. The wines and olive oils were very good. We think the property should be rated higher than it is.

We had to pay for wine tastings even though we bought 2 bottles of wine. There were no screens on the windows which let the mosquitos in. The bathroom could use some shelves for toiletries. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Close to paradise...

During our long journey from Italy to Greece, we stayed at several places, including some agriturismos. Agriturismo biologico Poggiopiano is, without doubt, among the top two we visited. The location is enchanting, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, and incredibly peaceful, despite being so close to Florence. Just for the setting and the beauty of the place, it would already deserve a 10, and when you add the friendly, helpful, and highly professional staff, it’s impossible to give anything less. The small plates with appetizers and treats offered are delicious, and the wine they produce is simply fantastic. I still can’t decide whether the "Voce alla Terra" or the "Riserva" is the farm’s best wine. A wonderful experience that we will definitely repeat.

If there were also a restaurant to have dinner, it would be paradise on earth...

A magical place!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Elisabetta was a wonderful host who made us feel like family. The room and bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was nice to cook in. We loved sitting by the peaceful pool and enjoying wine in the garden.

We loved everything! We’d recommend being aware that the bus service isn’t the most timely, so to have a taxi backup plan.

A beautiful location outside Florence.

Fabulous location and views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Secure property with electronic gate, keys for access to the building, communal lounge area and our room. Shower gel/shampoo was lovely. Very comfortable bed and so quiet that we had a good night's sleep. Recycling bins outside.

Bathroom and kitchen extractor fans were very noisy. The kitchen was adequately equipped with utensils etc but some kitchen roll, oil and pepper would have helped (there was salt and sugar). The ceiling fan pull switch was broken off so we had to use a chair to reach the switch. The hot water wasn't quite hot enough for washing up and ensuring that equipment was clean so we had to boil the kettle, also for a really hot shower it wasn't quite hot enough. We found the under kitchen unit light and extractor fan on the second day so some notes on where things are would be really helpful.

Fantastic stay

Great place to stay for a reasonable price. Lovely staff who were very accommodating and knowledgable. They were more than happy to give recommendations on places to eat etc... Great check in and check out. Would definitely go back and stay again. Thank Martina for a wonderful time staying and hopefully we'll be able to stay longer next time.

Beautiful views. Tranquil setting after a day in Florence

Beautiful location with wonderful views. Loved the pool. Wine and olive oil tasting were interesting and informative. Martina was very helpful. Would highly recommend dinner at Pollicino if looking to have a local meal( in Girone)

I understand that there are some local rules re heating being turned on at this time of year but I did find the room cold at night.

A memorable and truely Tuscan experience.

Beautifully done and felt really Italian. It was a fantastic experience to be staying in a Vineyard with lovely views and wine to taste. It was very well located, easy reach to Florence but out in a peaceful place. We couldn’t have dreamt up a place like this!

Superb

We loved the pool, the atmosphere and the breakfast! It is possible (but very exhausting) to reach the place by public transport although you have to carry your luggage uphill for about 20min. Once you arrive at the agriturismo you can regard yourself with a refreshing bath in the pool. Next to the Busstation you find a small store which offers nearly everything you need.

Only book if you are going by car, it’s a nightmare to reach by bus and walking; there is no restaurant on the property

Will not recommend to travellers whom does not drive there.

BF was ok and location is way out of the main road which posed saftey concerned if you are not driving and come back late at night specially for travellers whom is in this place the first time.

The room that we stay need better ventilation as there wasn't any air-condition in it.

Charming farm-stay in beautiful Tuscany

The Agriturismo is just lovely with a beautiful view. the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, the wine and olive oil were amazing. The whole place has a rustic yet homey feel to it, so it was a real pleasure to stay here even when the weather wasn’t the best.

Lovely stay just outside of Florence

Great location where you can experience the Tuscany countryside but are also able to reach Florence in 20 minutes driving or 45 minutes by bus. Elisabetta is a lovely host very proud to showcase the food and wines they produce in the farm.

Tranquility Base

The location, rooms, and environs are nothing short of magical: in the middle of the Galardi family vineyards, a few kilometres from the historical city of Florence, in a quiet and beautifully restored farm house. The owners are fluent in several foreign languages (at least English and French), and Elisabetta was a life-saver helping us navigate the intricacies of the mostly Italian-speaking Italian road assistance after our rental car refused to leave the property. Without her we would probably would have lost an entire day waiting for the problem to be fixed. Did I mention the wine, and the gorgeous location? The car knew better than us; we should have stayed longer :)

Could not fault the stay in any way, unfortunately the bus company spoiled our holiday

Beautiful place, great host who looked after us when we were in trouble. Cannot fault Elizabettta despite the problems we faced locally.

Nothing to do with this wonderful place but we were the victims of a scam which really needs to be flagged up before more Brits fall foul of it. We were helped so much by our host, we were very upset and she wrote a letter on our behalf, our experience should not deter others from visiting this amazing place. We purchased four tickets to get us in and out of Florence, costing a mere 6 Euros,we showed them to the driver who did not want to know and was quite rude. Two inspectors boarded the bus and started bullying passengers who had left the bus and were grabbing them to show their tickets. We were happy to show our tickets because we had nothing to fear. The inspectors announced that our tickets were not valid because they had not been stamped. We were treated like common criminals, we had to give over our passports and were fined 100 Euros. We had only been in this area for half an hour and nobody warned us about ticket stamping, it should be flagged up in big letters on the bus, they do not do this so they can take money from tourists. So sad, spoiled our holiday, a seventieth birthday. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS, we do not want fellow Brits to be in tears as we were.

Très bon emplacement pour visiter Florence avec un prix correct pour les conditions d'hébergement

L'emplacement est superbe accessible depuis l'autoroute en 15 minutes. L'Agriturismo se trouve au milieu des vignes et des oliviers, c'est vraiment la Toscane. La chambre avec un coin cuisine nous a permis d'avoir de flexibilité au niveau des repas. La propriété fait de plus du vin délicieux. Les hôtes sont charmantes sur leurs conseils nous avons laissé notre voiture sur un parking gratuit au centre du village et pris un bus pour Florence qui en 20-25 minutes nous a laissé à côté du Dumo pour 1,70 euros le trajet et pareil pour revenir.

La salle de bain un peu vieillotte avec une baignoire peu pratique

Disfrutar Florencia muy relajados.

Una hermosa y cómoda suite ubicada en medio de la montaña con paisajes muy lindos. Elisabeta y Cristina dos divinas dispuestas siempre a solucionarte cualquier inconveniente y ayudarte en lo que necesites. Una sola aclaración. Hay 900 más hasta la parada del bus 14 (es cerca) que te lleva a y te trae de Florencia (te deja en el corazón de la ciudad a mano de todo) solo que son 900 mts de montaña con mucha pendiente (ir es fácil, la vuelta es difícil salvo que estés en muy buen estado físico) Lo ideal es ir en auto, hay parking gratis cerca de la parada del bus, dejas allí el auto y te vas tranquilo en bus a Florencia porque estacionar en Florencia es complicado.
