Lovely property and a great host. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the family suite and the views over the valley were beautiful. The bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage space. The pool was lovely and clean with plenty of sun beds. Martina the host was a fantastic source of information and when we encountered a few issues, she addressed them straight away.

Lovely villa in a nice neighbourhood about a 20 minute drive from the city centre. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped with a great roof terrace with very nice views of the Tuscan countryside, and a lovely pool.

This isn't the fault of the villa, but we had hoped to be able to take public transport to the city centre each day, as we understood the bus stop was just outside. However, we were advised to drive (busses infrequent and too small apparently).

the host couples are so nice and kind, they considered for us more than I expected. they recommended good restaurants, best locations for supermarkets, nice places to go, even the parking houses. very very kind and considerate.

A luxurious getaway in Florence

Martina and Gabriele are great hosts. Extremely responsive and helpful. The property is very clean and spacious with all ameneties. Views from the property are fabulous.

The property is quite far from the tourist spots of Florence. The bus stop is less than 100 meters away, which is helpful, but commuting still takes quite some time.

Modern, clean, perfectly proportioned. Private garden. Beautiful pool. Incredibly responsive and helpful staff. Really great being so close to the bus stop. Photos don't do it justice. Excellent air conditioning. Great kitchen

This is a terrific place to stay. The apartment was really comfortable and the views over the nearby countryside were lovely. Martina was a wonderful host who explained everything about the apartment and about transport and local amenities. The location was handy to a bus stop where two different routes went into the old town where the main attractions were located.

Lovely apartment, run by a nice couple, and only a 15 mins bus ride into Florence.

How friendly and welcoming the host was. The rooms were spacious and as described on the brief. The sofa bed for our teenage son was really comfortable. The price for the apartment was fair and much more acceptable than getting 2 bedrooms in a hotel in Florence. The Bus being so near was very helpful.

That there wasnt really a little shop for groceries nearby but its a minor issue

Martina is an excellent and highly professional host. The property is lovely, clean, spacious and has a wonderful pool, good and secure parking. Martina even made sure we could access the property much earlier than the official 3:00 pm check-in. Highly recommended and we loved our time staying at Villa Le Statue, as a very nice location to explore Florence, Siena and surrounding areas. The large terrace also had great views. Wonderful property with the kindest hosts. Felt welcomed right from the start. Any minor issues we had Marlena was there to help. The pool was wonderful and lovely to soak in during a hot day in Florence. Would highly recommend and would stay at this beautiful property again.

TUscanny at its best.

This is a hidden gem in the hills of Florence, just 15 minutes drive from the city center. Martina and her husband are perfect hosts, gave us the best tips for restaurants (Zocchi) and ice cream (Badiani). The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and our terrace let no wish unanswered: full view of the Hills of Tuscanny right in front of our eyes. The pool is amazing. We are often in Italy but this was clearly one of the best experiences.

I will recommend Villa Le Statue to all my friends and will very happily return.

Everything was as advertised, plus some unexpectedly useful extras. First, great communication and support from our delightful host throughout our stay (e.g., helping us organise dinner after late evening arrival, having bus tickets to hand, keeping us posted at all times when the region was briefly affected by water supply issues). There's a snacks and drinks machine as well, super useful as shopping requires a little organisation. Pool has jacuzzi features, the showers are powerful, and the views from the roof terrace are stunning. As we experienced a heatwave, the AC was a life saver.

Can't think of anything about the Villa itself that we didn't like. It's a great plus that it's on a major busline. Generally it's very reliable, though very occasionally a bus would get dropped out of the schedule which means an extra 20 mins wait. As long as you don't cut it too close and wear sunscreen, it's all fine.

Ideal villa for a Tuscan holiday

Of all my stays with Booking.com (and there are many), Martina and her husband provided the best welcome ever. They are really suited to perfectly manage a holiday property: smiling, friendly, discreet, flexible and really helpful, from booking a taxi to allowing us a couple of extra hours in the apartment when our flight was cancelled. The apartment itself was fab, extremely clean (we also appreciated the extra cleaning mid-week, thank you), larger than we thought, with great attention to detail: lovely decor, comfortable sofa, good lighting, mosquito net on bedroom window, plenty of storage options, everything you need in the kitchen, excellent shower. The air conditioning is so efficient that there is no need to leave it on all day, the apartment cools down in just 10 min. Relaxing pool, ideal after a day of hot sightseeing. We loved the quiet location with gorgeous views of the hills, perfect to sleep with the window wide open. Bus nb 25 stops 30 meters from the property every 20 min and brings you to Piazza San Marco in 12-15 min. Use the TabNet app to buy and activate tickets on your phone. Once activated, each ticket gives you 90 min of bus and tram travel (tram goes to airport). One phone can cover several passengers, just activate one ticket per person. The same bus in the other direction leads you further up the hill to Pratolino to a great restaurant with even better views and lovely food (Zocchi). Martina can book a table for you. All in all, there is no doubt that we will come back to Florence and I will definitely know where to stay :-)
