Honestly this place is incredible! The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel itself is either new or newly refurbished, very nice details and the downstairs was both slick but also welcoming. The room was spacious with high ceilings and nice colour scheme, one of those that exceeds expectations from the photos. We enjoyed the free happy wine hour but didn’t get to enjoy the additional happy nightcap hour! Breakfast was decent and staff went out of their way to help on our last day where we had missed the time slot but they got everything back out for us. Honestly could not recommend the place enough! Thank you thank you !

Receptionists (especially management) and reception area are great. After that a bit hit and miss. Could do better: TV that gets a good signal. Bed that doesn't squeak. Curtains that block out daylight. Information about the hotel phone system, transport services and restaurants nearby. English tea at breakfast and in the rooms for UK customers. Enough milk for 3 people when there are 3 in the room An all inclusive breakfast rather than having to pay for items(is this a Danish thing?) A clean carpet in all rooms. Some notepaper and a pen Cleaners who clean cups etc Would have been nice to know that there are lots of restaurants quite close by.

Hotel is well situated, about ten minute walk to city center, five minute walk to metro. Room was clean, well appointed though not luxurious. Staff could not have been more welcoming. Always a warm smile, ready to help. From 5:00 to 6:00 they have free glass of wine for you in lobby.

Neither the hotel nor the location were great and we won't be returning to it on our next visit to Copenhagen. The rooms were poorly soundproofed and the light inadequate for reading. The elevator was tiny, with room for only 3 people. The staff were most helpful but this was not enough to compensate for the inherent deficiencies in the room and the hotel's location.

The staff is outstanding, very responsive, making sure all is well. First level (lobby, bar, restaurant, toilets) are absolutely delightful, well decorated. Noisy rooms from traffic in front rooms; back rooms are very quiet. No air con if hot outside. Rooms are typically European small but workable. Breakfast buffet is excellent and well staffed. We stayed here twice...before and after our cruise. Welcomed back like family. Would absolutely stay here again (as long as no heat wave).

Great hotel with wonderful rooms, breakfast buffet, and outdoor patio area. Unfortunately, the hotel sits on a busy street making any room facing the front very noisy. Also, any room overlooking the back patio is subject to noise and cigarette smoke from patio occupants.

We loved this hotel. The staff were exceptional, answering our questions, suggesting places to eat, sorting out minor problems with our room efficiently and quickly and printing off our boarding passes for us. The free glasses of wine between 5pm and 6pm were a lovely touch. Breakfast was very good. Sitting in their quiet courtyard after a busy day site seeing made our holiday complete.

Reception staff are very helpful and welcoming. Happy hour equals free wine between 5 and 6pm. Receptionist made sure we were included even though we were 10 minutes late on arrival. After that they were helpful on every occasion we asked for advice. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location is 5 minutes from Forum metro station offering easy access to all the sights.

I had high hopes based on reviews, but was soundly disappointed. The room and the bathroom was much smaller than I was expecting for how expensive the hotel was. There was only room for a bed, a small chair, and a small desk, barely any closet room, and the bathroom was the size of a closet. I couldn't shower without my shoulders touching the bathroom wall and the shower curtain. The size and quality of the bathroom also meant the room was humid and didn't smell great during our stay. There is also no air conditioning (though they provided a fan), so our room was very warm. I would have expected the hotel to cost half the price based on our experience and comparable places to stay in Denmark.

Nice hotel and in a good location for walking to many places. It was a bit expensive for what it was though, especially the breakfast...delicious, but way too expensive for fruit, yogurt, and bread. The road noise made it difficult to sleep, but a room facing the back would probably have been very nice.

Our room was small, and because it overlooked the main road, it was extremely noisy. The room was also very stuffy. This, too, made sleeping difficult.The courtyard was pleasant, and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Close to Metro station and shopping of all sorts--very convenient. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. This is a restful place to stay, if pricey (like all of downtown Copenhagen).

The rooms were fairly compact, the bathroom was almost as big. The window opened widely, which is good as the room was very hot and there is no aircon. We overlooked the rear which was very pleasant. The TV did not work something to do with the satellite - which was really annoying as the Olympics was on and I wanted to see some sport when in bed. The location was good, the bus - no 66 went from by the 7Eleven - which was open all night?! The shop is just around the corner. If you have your back to the hotel entrance, go left to the junction cross opposite the hotel and you can see the shop. The bus takes cash. The No 66 takes you to Tivoli Gardens and if you stay on the Nyhavn area too. The breakfast was OK, a bit of a bun fight getting a table. Coffee is included - tea is not.

We booked and paid extra for a superior room for minibar. However since booking all of the minibars had been removed but was still in room description. Unfortunately all of the superior rooms are at the front of the bulding and the hotel is on an extremely busy arterial road out of the city and opposite a bar that was open into the early hours of the morning, with significant disruption to sleep, this meant we could not open our windows. Also there was no airconditioning and so no form of ventilation or cooling, which was a severe problem at night. Apparently there was supposed to be a fan which we did not have and took 2 days to appear in the room after asking. The room itself apart from being larger and having a bed settee was not what I would expect in a superior room and the definition of it being a 'boutique' hotel I would doubt, as the normal UK definition usually means of very good standard which this essentially was not that. The only lift is very small and is limited to 3 people, so buggies and luggage cause a problem. Basic toiletries are provided but not really what I would have expected. On the positive side the staff werefriendly and very helpful, there was free wine between 5-6pm every evening, they allowed us to put our bottled water in their fridge and the breakfast was plentiful and of very good standard. There is also a lovely outdoor terrace and indoor lounge. We would not have booked this hotel if we had known it had no minibar and on a major road.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, need to take taxi.Very noisy at night, quests are allow to party in the court yard past midnight. Couldn't sleep because of noise. The hotel did not care about the noise ,they did not know hotel is for quest to sleep not for party at night.They did nothing to stop the noise. very upset about the attitude of receptionist and hotel policy. No AC in the room , very hot .The carpet is old and dirty made the room smell bad.

I liked this hotel but the rooms are in need of renovation, especially the bathrooms, which had cracked tiles and black mold! The beds were adequate but could use a thicker top-mattress. The breakfast was very nice, they even had good gluten-free bread! All of the staff are very kind and accomodating. The lounge areas inside and outdoors are inviting and comfortable, with a free wine hour and decent bar prices. I would gladly come back to the hotel once they have updated the bathrooms.

Hotel was very good, the service could not have been better. The hotel is located about 20 minute walk from the city centre. Bedroom was clean but the bathroom although clean was a bit tired and the shower not very powerful. We had a room at the rear overlooking the terrace (quiet as the main road at the front of the hotel is very busy. TV packed up whilst we were there but this was not an issue as we were out all the time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending local restaurants and even ordered takeaway pizza into the hotel for us! Buffet breakfast was excellent with a good selection of breads, pastries, cheese, cold meats, fresh fruits, dried fruits, cereal and yogurts, juices and various types of teas and coffees. All in all a very enjoyable stay :) Yes, I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Stated a double bed but got two singles pushed together with separate duvets. However bed was comfortable. The bathroom was outdated compared to the rest of the room. They are the only faults. The room was nicely decorated and very spacious with high ceilings. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant.
