Honestly this place is incredible! The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel itself is either new or newly refurbished, very nice details and the downstairs was both slick but also welcoming. The room was spacious with high ceilings and nice colour scheme, one of those that exceeds expectations from the photos. We enjoyed the free happy wine hour but didn’t get to enjoy the additional happy nightcap hour! Breakfast was decent and staff went out of their way to help on our last day where we had missed the time slot but they got everything back out for us. Honestly could not recommend the place enough! Thank you thank you !

Hotel is excellent, wine hour and night cap hour is brilliant. Hotel is a little way out from main areas but the walk is good or it’s near the metro. Would recommend staying here.

Loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and includes bottomless prosecco. The hotel offers a wine hour between 5 and 6 where you can enjoy free white or red wine which was amazing plus an hour between 10 & 11 where you can enjoy night caps for free which include premium spirits such as diplomatico rum.

A mainly enjoyable stay at a rather hit and miss hotel. The good points. Excellent public spaces. Big bar. Free cocktail hour. Excellent breakfasts and friendly staff. Bad points. Room we stayed in was distinctly average and bathroom was tired. Two bottles of shampoo/shower gel and minute bar of soap were provided. Pillows oddly uncomfortable. TV very small and carpet was a bit grubby. Most rooms face the road which is noisy so either pay extra for inner rooms or take ear plugs. The plus points outweighed the negatives overall and the staff were faultless

Had a really enjoyable stay here. Room was very spacious, bit of a socket shortage and the bathroom a bit tired, but very clean, quiet and the most comfy of beds ever. 5 min walk from metro, and for Borgen fans its across the road from where Birgitte lives in S4 and a few mins walk from Tjili Pop bar - also in S4. What more could you want :)

The property is in a great location near many nice spots. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a nice open patio in the back were you can have drinks, and smoke cigars. I feel the only thing is the rooms were very outdated. Overall, the hotel is like a 3.5-4 star.

Cosy hotel with a laid back feel to it. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for friends and family. The room was a bit dusty in some places and a table lamp didn´t work but those were no deal breakers. The windows in the rooms don´t have a safety hinge, so I would advice extra caution for visitors with children.

The hotel itself is cute. However the rooms were not. Old carpet was gross. No AC so had to have windows open. It’s on an extremely busy noisy street so did not sleep.

Must be the first hotel i've stayed in the past two years out of 20, which didn't have a fridge or complimentary toothpaste. Also the first place someone made a face to me as i complained. Toilet water flow bad, room service only one day of four, so i'm a little baffled. The lobby and breakfast is amazing.

Generally low standard with much wear and tear on the hotel room and common areas. Elevator malfunctioning, shower almost without any hot water. No fridge in the room. Hotel compensates with free wine/beverages, but still the overall experience was disappointing.

Pros: close to work. The bar, breakfast area and the outside lounge are lovely. Coffee and staff. Cons: room looked nothing like the photos on the site. Room was very dated and needed a lick of paint, head of the bed was pushed against the window, wasnt very comfortable trying to sleep under a draft and the noise from the road. Breakfast, no hot food apart from scrambled or boiled egg's, and for the price of breakfast i expected to be able eat more than muesli for a week. When the bathroom taps were turned on a horrible smell would come from the pipes. No tea/coffee facilities in the room

The hotel had a nice breakfast with fresh juice and great coffee! That was excellent. It was easy to park a car on the parking lot of the hotel. There are decent bars to go to near the hotel and the walk to the city center is not too long. However, the rooms could deserve a bit of a freshening up - that was slightly disappointing.

Excellent service and great general areas with a lovely bar. The room itself was quite basic and in need of a facelift. You're prompted to check in using an app - which will not work once you get to the hotel as you also need a key to the room. The street outside is quite busy and there's a lot of disturbing noise - if you're a light sleeper you definitely do not want to have a room facing the street.

Really enjoyed our stay at Avenue. We were given a room facing the calm courtyard. Neat and tidy room, great staff always eager to help out with advice.
