Aesthetics, price-value, showers, and the hang-out space.

CityHub Copenhaguen is an amazing hostel that completely exceeded our expectations. First of all, the check-in process was very easy, having a bracelet instead of a card for everything makes it all very accessible. It is clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing, having an ample hang-out place where my friend and I could have dinner or play board games at night. The atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. The bathroom is beautiful, all equipped with ritual products, which I thought was a nice touch, great facilities including a place to do your makeup comfortably, and even a sauna. There are also several restaurants and shops around the hostel, and the neighbourhood is very pretty. It was overall a great stay.

The hair dryer was very weak. It was a 20 minute walk away from the centre, but we did not mind.

It's in a neighborhood I like. It's conveniently located by bus and metro. The sauna is a nice touch; you can unwind after a long day. The lobby is very pleasant; you can get many drinks at reasonable prices and socialize there.

This property wasn't as clean as my previous stays. There was quite a bit of dust in the room, which was quite disturbing. There's enough time between check-in and check-out, and rooms should definitely be thoroughly swept and dusted, with additional cleaning staff if necessary. The floor is carpeted, and that much dust could cause allergic reactions. Also, this time, the hair dryers in the bathroom didn't work intermittently due to an electrical fault. Some showers had water flow problems. It wasn't clean enough. The kitchen was quite small and inadequate compared to the number of rooms. The staff this time were either tired or indifferent. I found it a bit disorganized compared to before.

Perfect for a weekend city break

Fantastic central location- easy to get to by public transport, including train, metro and bus. All shared areas were cleaned regularly and well presented. Beds were very comfortable. Having lockers available up to 24 hours after check out was a real bonus. Check in process was really easy using the kiosk at the front. The WhatsApp before arrival with recommendations was really helpful. Rooms were bright and spacious. Common areas were really nice option to have more space if you needed. I didn’t get to use it, but the sauna was a nice touch. They’ve thought of lots of little things, like having vending machines with items you may need- flip flops, toothpaste. The Rituals toiletries felt very luxurious. I loved how many recycling points there were around the hub. I have never stayed in a hub before but would definitely stay again.

Copenhagen is very expensive in comparison to the UK- The hub was reasonably priced compared to other accommodation

Ideal location for a short touristic stay

Really good value for the price. Appropriate for short stays. Superb location - the bus stop was very close to reach the city centre. However, I highly suggest spending more time in the hip neighbourhood. I'm a really light sleeper and was on the main corridor, but no worries, the guests were super quiet - I only woke up once. I didn't hear anything from the upper pod - the soundproofing is approved. Bathrooms were not cramped and kept clean.

The lighting options were interesting, and it was quite an experience; however, adding an additional regular lighting option would be beneficial. Additionally, for those who are sensitive to cold, the ventilation system was quite strong, and I felt cold, especially early in the morning.

Recommended for everyone

One of a kind , perfect for solo travel. Location is quite good which is 8-a mere 10 mins walk to nearest metro stop. There is a supermarket between. Amenities are great with towels provided and bedding is very comfortable. Get to check in early which is greatly appreciated especially after a long flight. Super recommended. Thank you!

Superb

The capsule hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the Central Station, Tivoli, and Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, etc...Check-in and check-out were easy and self-service. Room, bathroom is clean, adjustable mood LED lighting gives the space a modern feel. The lounge area at the entrance is fully equipped with sofas, kitchens, microwaves, and other facilities, giving travellers from all over the world more options in Copenhagen, an expensive city. In addition, there is a 7-Eleven convenience store, a large supermarket, and restaurants nearby.

Perfect stay for three days in Copenhagen!

The location is excellent and the prices are a great value. All of the facilities are very clean, including the bathrooms. I was worried about sharing a bathroom, hostel-style, but they were high end, including a sauna. The pods were kept a comfortable, cool temperature with adequate blankets and the sound / light proofing is excellent. I was able to sleep incredibly deeply. I was also worried about the automation and that there would be no one to solve any problems, but the staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. I locked myself out of the pod in the middle of the night when I went to the bathroom, and there was a staff member in the lobby able to immediately help, even at 5:00am. The location was convenient and I was able to walk or bike to all the major train stations and sites.

The hangars are sufficient for pants and shirts, but there is not enough clearance to hang a long dress above the shelf in the pods. This isn't a dealbreaker by any means, but would be helpful if the hotel is looking for feedback.

An inviting home away from home!

Everything about the CityHub was great. I walked in the door and was greeted by exceptionally friendly, helpful and informative staff. I entered my room and had a lovely space that was well thought out and provided me all that I needed. I used the facilities which were well designed and and spotlessly clean. And I was close to everything in the city and to public transportation. The ambiance was great. It’s a terrific concept and it really works. I would highly recommend it to any traveller.

Loving the cube hotel concept

The cabin concept is really nice, because at the end of the day you just need a nice place to sleep at, the shared bath looked nice and clean. Sauna was pretty good too. The kitchen and common zones were also always clean, so you could also have your meals at the accomodation.

The bedsheets were clean, but the mattress underneath had some stains, nothing major but I think it can be cleaned.

Capsule was more specious than I expected. We selected a top one and it didnt even feel claustrophobic. Facilities were decent.

It was stated that sauna is open 08:00-22:00 and we planned our day starting with sauna. When we attempted to enter in at 8.05, there was a cleaner and told us it will be ready in 40 mins. I know it is a small detail but I’d prefer to see a more professional arrangement

Pleasant stay!

POD spacious and more or less sound proof. I was a little nervous about having a bottom pod but I heard nothing above me all night until the last night when someone new came, and I am a light sleeper. Tons of space in the bathrooms, multiple shower and toilet stalls. Mini kitchen with shared fridge, even Tupperware to store food. Metro was a 10 min walk away.

Shower went from boiling to cold… and no removable shower head. No face cloths provided, but at least you can ask for extra towels whenever. Mattress was paper thin, as a side sleeper it really hurt my back. Also didn’t like that it was 2 twin mattresses because I always ended up between the two.

Loved the sauna. Nice place to sit and enjoy down time or a meal. Access to drinks any time. Liked the idea that I could just use my bracelet and pay once at the end. Also liked the idea that we could store food in a fridge and there were dishes and utensils to use.

Great place to stay 10/10

A city break with my 15 year old son. Ideal location, great facilities, and got to choose our hub: we went for a top one. Safe, secure and a very welcoming environment. A lovely touch was a kimono each and lovely soft towels and comfortable bedding. We checked in early as there were hubs available and we were able to leave our luggage after checkout and then use the “hangout”area whilst waiting to leave for the airport. It’s a 25 min walk from Copenhagen main railway station or an 8 min walk from Frederick Alle metro on the City ring line (M3 line).

Great place with comfy vibe

Great pod concept with quiet and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful, including with tips on where to take our hire bikes in the lovely weather.

Amazing stay in Copenhagen

Everything was perfect! Location is amazing: close to restaurants and markets. Tivoli Park is a 20-min straight line walk. I was concerned about sharing bathrooms but they were always clean when I had to use them. Rituals amenities were a plus. Bed was big and comfortable. Staff amazing and super helpful!

Perfect hostel, hub, and location

Amazing hostel. The hub is comfortable, clean, and actually cancels noise. To be able to connect one's music to the speakers in a nice touch. The bathroom includes rituals brand shampoo and soap. They give you towels free of charge. The little kitchen has everything for a quick bite and breakfast. The drinks section is super easy to use. Nothing negative to say!

Interesting concept with bonus Sauna!

This was an interesting concept. The pods were very comfy and the beds comfortable. My stay's highlight was the three free saunas and ice buckets on the premises. There is also a very spacious socializing space and bar. The hostel is about 6 minutes away from two metro stations which was practical. The neighborhood also has many cafes and restaurants, especially a cute porridge place next door called Grod!

It's relatively far from the center of attractions in Copenhagen and you will need to take the metro or bus every time you want to reach your activities but it's not a big deal because the city is highly walkable and connected.
