旅館 焼乃湯

The view from my room was absolutely amazing! I woke up every morning to a snowy mountain view. The private onsen and the food were definitely highlights of the stay. The private onsen requires advance reservation, and there are three types with different designs. The views from the onsen are superb. The same goes for the food—during our 3-day, 2-night stay, every meal was truly impressive. The property is not easily accessible by public transport, so we drove there throughout our trip. There is also plenty of parking available. The staff speak limited English, but they are helpful, friendly, and kind. Although the place is slightly old and could use some maintenance, considering the price, it is absolutely worth it.

The bathroom in our rooms was out of service, which caused some inconvenience, and this was not communicated to us in advance*during booking. Although the staff/owner provided a solution for us to use the public toilet and shower facilities, the public onsen and restrooms exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and amenities.

The outdoor Onsens were amazing. With 4 to choose from, they all had their own charm and temp. We were lucky to have the snow (8/12). Food was plentiful and staff was exceptionally warm.

A little outdated but it it added to the homely charm.

温泉が良く、露天風呂が良かった。 社長と思われる年配の男性は丁寧な対応で良かったが、従業員は外国の方で対応はいまいち。 従業員にテレビが映らないと言うと、もうしばらくで高山から直しにくると言っていたがこなかったので、社長と思われる年配の男性に伝えると直ぐに予備のテレビに替えてくれたが、従業員はその場しのぎの言い訳していた。 内風呂の泉質が良かったが、タイルが剥がれていたりしてかなり老朽化していたのが残念。 都会の喧騒を離れ温泉をのんびり楽しむには良いと思います。 料金相応です。 温泉が目的なら良いかな。

いい庭なのに手入れされておらず、建物周囲も雑草が繁茂している。建物を含め全体が老朽化しているが、手入れが行き届いていないというより手入れしていない感じ。
