Staff spoke perfect English. The dinner and breakfast was delicious, plentiful and the experience was truly something to remember. Room had a nice view of the river and waterfall. Room was spacious and clean. The bath was the highlight - so many baths to choose! And they have a really nice outdoor bath area for mixed genders too.

Everything was excellent from the service to the room to the meals. The meals were really exceptional. Large onsen. Very value for money.
Location wasn’t convenient unless you drive. Felt that the onsen water could have been more sulphuric. But these are mostly nitpicks.

I like the well-decorated tatami room and that the two rooms we got were next to each other.
I thought breakfast and dinner were included according to Booking when I reserved but it turned out that the price I paid thru Booking with my credit card was only for the room. The location of this onsen (therme) was too far for just a one night stay. The hotel bath facilities were ok but not great. I would recommend that people find accommodations in Hirayu which is easier to access, and go to the public baths including the ones outside.
