Tenuta La Rotta - Rooms & Pool

I really wanted to write a honest and truthful review of this establishment as I feel the recent reviews have twisted the truth. Firstly we have had a wonderful and relaxing time, I travelled with my father and two young daughters. It is an oasis of peacefulness and relaxation- if you are not wanting this do not book! I stayed in the room where the air conditioning was located in between two rooms and had no issues with keeping the rooms cool, however, if I would have been annoyed Carmelo would have sourced a solution - he is extremely helpful. There is ample parking and upon arrival you are required to park and walk your luggage in - no issue as a cart is provided and it is a very short walk - I managed this with two girls in tow! Breakfast is delicious - fresh pastries are provided everyday alongside fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and breads. I will say the coffee is out of this world! Absolutely fantastic cappuccinos 😍 Its location is great and the roads are absolutely fine. We have loved dining at the local trattorias especially Trattoria da Luciano! I rated the location as a 5 as we wanted it to be peaceful - exactly what is is - you will need a car to get around 🙂 When I leave my reviews they are always based on honestly, the cost and how I feel when I arrive. For the price we paid and the welcome we received it’s a 10/10. Thank you to all!

La propriété est dans un lieu très calme à la campagne, à quelques minutes de voiture de Ravenne. Tout est beau et propre et Carmelo est très gentil et de bon conseil.

Nice Pool, Clean air conditioned rooms, great beach volley / tennis court. Friendly cleaning lady.

The main contact / host was intrusive and blunt. Property is full of camera´s and the host pops up every now and then when for instance you jump in the pool (no diving allowed, no ball games in pool allowed, dedicated seats at pool for your room, if you occupy another one the guy pops up). Though renting an room with four beds, the host closes the 2 single beds side room when the guest is not there (my daughter joined only for 3/7 nights). Poor breakfast (everyday same sweet and savory croisants, yoghurt, cereals and fresh fruits, no eggs whatsover, no bread very limited). Pool seats are rented to local day visitors. Also pool party was organised for approx 40-50 persons only notified 1 day before. Pool opens at 9.00 and closes at 19.00 - not great when you want to do laps before breakfast. Make sure you take plenty of anti-mosquito as there are really a lot of them ! No EV loading facilities, Gym is NOT airconditioned.
