Cosy & Stylish 2 Bedroom City Centre Oasis - FREE Secure Parking

A perfect location when visiting Canterbury. A pleasant short walk into the centre of Canterbury, yet Ivy Lane is nice and quiet. The cottage is beautiful, and is both cosy, comfortable, and well equipt with all the necessities, with thoughtful extras like books and games. Our hosts were attentive and couldn't have been more helpful. The cottage was immaculate, beautifully furnished and decorated, with quirky touches. The kitchen was beautiful and equipt with everything you could need, but our hosts had left lots of thoughtful extras. The bathrooms were immaculate and we appreciated the toiletries, and abundance of toilet paper. We all slept well, the beds and linen were clean and the mattresses were very comfortable, and we welcomed the use of a cot. There is a lovely little courtyard, where we had our morning coffee on one occasion. My grandson was amazed at the aray of different bushes and plants. We arrived quite late, and were pleased to find a Waitrose supermarket was only a four minute walk away and stayed open until nine. The secure parking was a real bonus, as we walked into Canterbury, only using the car once when we went to Dover Castle, which is only 30 minutes away and well worth a visit. We had a lovely stay and when we return to Canterbury, we hope to stay here again.

Location was excellent. Good pub opposite, Waitrose round the corner, and easy access to the centre of Canterbury.

There was a lot to like at this house: -Cute little sunny court/yard garden, with garden furniture which we used a lot. - Very generous amount of extras - toiletries, toilet paper, soap, kitchen essentials such as salt pepper and coffee and tea etc. - the facilities were excellent and you had access to all cooking utensils and appliances. The location was excellent for walking to all the central tourist attractions and shops. The parking space was a huge bonus. Communication and customer information from the host company was excellent and very informative, warm and friendly.

The overwhelming smell of incense in the house. Fortunately it was warm so we could open all the doors and windows on arrival.

Roomy, comfortable, clean and an easy walk to all the city centre attactions. There’s a varied selection of dvd’s and books and an extensive cd collection😁😁😁

Noisy at night with pubbers and clubbers making their way home, so disturbed sleep. User unfriendly tv with no Netflix. Judge for yourselves but I don’t think it was an age thing.
