A beautiful, cosy apartment in a perfect seaside location

The apartment is absolutely beautiful — even better than in the photos. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly cosy, with excellent heating that worked perfectly and kept the place lovely and warm throughout our stay. The village itself is charming and full of character, and the location couldn’t be better: just a few steps from the beach, making it ideal for peaceful walks and enjoying the sea. We truly loved our stay and would happily come back.

Perfectly well appointed, cosy flat for a Burntisland jaunt.

Super easy to collect keys and the cottage is on a cosy street just off the (super well equipped) High St. Plenty parking for us and no trouble. The flat is v well appointed for local amenties and the gorgeous beach. We traipsed off to a bracing morning swim when the tide was in! The electric fire, soft beds, extra blankets, and boot room were really helpful for wintry beach goers. The flat is super close to the OUTSTANDING high street with award winning, friendly butchers/bakery/fishmonger/greengrocer. We frequented all of these plus the wine bar which does fab wood fire pizza too :) Also local coop (for wine and bits and pieces) and the excellent pharmacy (who sorted out nephew with baby Calpol asap). Overalll v recommended for visitors to the area.

Location close to the main street with everything that you could need.

It was a very thoughtful touch to leave milk, biscuits and crisps for our arrival especially as we forgotten to get milk. Communication from host was good with key safe details.

The property was extremely cold on arrival.

Lovely old Cottage

It was cosy, a lovely old building & everything you needed.

The location is pretty rough, lots of noise, dogs barking,arguments in flats near by. Cupboards not emptied (mouldy bread found a month out of date) bins not emptied. Needed a lamp in 1st bedroom.

We loved our stay in Burntisland, nice quiet town with quick transit to Edinburgh if desired.

Located in an old building (think low doorways, quirky windows that may or may not open well, stained glass, uneven floors) which we loved! Nice to have bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. Very easy walk to transport (bus or train station less than 5 minutes) and main street in small town. Quiet town with small shops and restaurants. Quick (10 minute) walk to beach. Responsive host when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Would stay again…… with my elbow pads! 😁

Near station and pubs/restaurants/shops. Very quiet. Bed super comfy.

The internal fire doors had very strong springs on them causing them to catch your elbow as they closed before you got through the door. Outside and back area could do with a good tidy up.

It was a great value for the money, than other flats or B& Bs in the area.. Ideal location to where we wanted to go over the weekend.

Belle maison traditionnelle

Il s'agit d'une maison traditionnelle écossaise de plus de 300 ans. Elle est très confortable et très bien équipée. Elle est située à proximité de la rue principale de Burntisland et également de la gare. Nous étions à pied et ce logement est très pratique notamment pour visiter Edimbourg car il y a 1 train toutes les heures qui vous amène en 40 minutes dans le centre de la capitale.
