Contemporary 3 Bedroom Flat

A really nice apartment with comfy beds and all that we needed was available to us. It would be better with a table and chairs in the living room and a microwave as on holidays you often bring home a meal to eat rather than cook.

The flooring the hall was very rough and without shoes on it could have been nasty.

Location was practical for getting to Edinburgh and around Fife. Good sized rooms. Little run down but nothing crazy. Good for the price. We drove and there was a parking lot opposite, but also bus routes outside the flat

The tanning salon below pumped music so loud the floor vibrated :'( not the accomodations fault but may be worth talking to them about it? The shower also didn't drain well, and a microwave would be very much appreciated.

The property was clean. The flat looked out onto a lovely little park area and the was within walking distance to the town centre, approximately 30 minute walk.

The entrance to the property wasn't welcoming as the side of the property was high and thick with nettles and the stairwell could do with a lick of paint. The nettles did get cut down while we were staying but it certainly didn't give a good impression. When entering the flat we were met with cracked and crumbling lino in the hallway which needs to be replaced as there was big pieces lifting when walking in the hallway, however the flat was clean. Unfortunately there was no microwave. The bed was extremely firm but my husband didn't find it too bad. Overall the flat could do with freshening up and a more welcoming exterior.
