Nice but marred by steep price discrepancy

The prices for my actual stay turned out to be 383 per night (I paid 909 per night). Although booking.com claimed there is a price match policy, I think there is no actual way to actually claim it since they require so much more information and a functional link for the dates of travel after the dates of travel (which means you can’t get them anyway, so it is a scam). The customer service is AI and there are no humans attending so you can type till the cows come home and no one would entertain you unless you call in. Even calling in is not guaranteed since one of them told me they had to do a verification and call me back but nope, they did not.

Magical cabins in the heart of nature with amazing food and sauna!
We had a fantastic stay at The Silver Birch Resort! The host was wonderfully kind and flexible, and even took the time to make our 4-year-old daughter feel happy and welcome. The cabins are truly unique, with walls made entirely of glass, which makes it feel like you are staying right in the middle of a birch forest. There’s also a glass roof, which made it magical to fall asleep under the stars and even catch a glimpse of the northern lights. The lakeside sauna was an absolute highlight, and the surroundings were perfect for a peaceful walk. We also went canoeing, which we highly recommend to anyone visiting — it was an unforgettable way to enjoy the nature around. On top of that, the cosy restaurant offered excellent food and atmosphere. We fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical and relaxing getaway in nature.

La ubicación es excepcional, estás rodeado de naturaleza, privacidad total. Tienes la opción de darte una sauna tradicional finlandesa y un baño en el río helado, es una experiencia única. Todo estuvo excelente. Es un lugar excepcional para pasar los días más relajantes llenos de naturaleza y vistas espectaculares. Las cabinas son hermosas y perfectas. Todo el personal fue muy amable, en el restaurante tuvimos los mejores desayunos de todo nuestro viaje en Europa. Realmente una experiencia única, nos encantaría regresar.

Das Resort liegt mitten in der wunderschönen Natur Lapland’s. Schöne, gut ausgestattete Cabins mit tollem Blick auf See und Birkenwald. Es ist der perfekte Ort um von Alltag abzuschalten, sei es mit Buch am Steg oder mit Kanu auf dem See. Würde sofort wiederkommen.
