Arctic Panorama Resort

First of all, I never go and do comments on places like this but I had to do for this one. We had the greatest experience here, comfy rooms, actually AMAZING food (kudos to the kitchen staff here), and great team. Specifically would like to thank Nina for arranging our birthday celebration. She handled everything super well. Our room had a great view, and if you are lucky and in a good weather, you can see the northern lights from your bed! There aren’t many activities inside the hotel besides the sauna but to be honest we felt super comfy and once again, food was so good. We saw northern lights but we will definitely come back to this hotel just for a peaceful trip and food next year. Silent, peaceful, clean and new. Thanks for everything.

La posizione in mezzo alla natura. La struttura ha un grande potenziale ma non ha servizi. Un albergo 5 stelle deve avere il trasporto valigie, la spa non è assolutamente funzionale e pratica, l'ingresso della reception è di fianco al retro delle cucine con bidoni spazzatura a vista, cena a buffet con ripetizione di molti piatti durante le sere del nostro soggiorno. Il prezzo richiesto non vale la struttura per quello che offre.

L'assenza di servizi per un 5 stelle, reception chiusa dalle 22, sauna senza area relax e zona idromassaggio a fianco del parcheggio. La sala ristorante/colazione molto grande e dispersiva e potrebbe essere resa più intima.

Schitterend gelegen locatie op een heuvel met een magisch uitzicht op de besneeuwde omgeving. Vanaf de luchthaven in ca. 10-15 minuten te bereiken. Elke ‘kamer’ is in wezen een houten cabine voorzien van alle gemakken, inclusief vloerverwarming en een panoramisch uitzicht. De cabines staan los van elkaar waardoor er geen enkele geluidsoverlast is. Separaat hoofdgebouw met bar en maaltijden in buffetvorm (elke dag andere keuzes), een sauna, whirlpool et cetera. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ook een prima uitvalsbasis voor de vele outdoor opties die Rovaniemi rijk is.

Prijzige locatie, maar dat is met veel locaties in de omgeving het geval. Aangezien de meeste locaties slechts vijf tot zes maanden per jaar operationeel zijn, moeten de jaarkosten op die manier gedekt worden. Romantische locatie die zich vooral als uitvalsbasis leent voor andere activiteiten in de regio. De locatie zelf organiseert geen activiteiten en er is geen 24-uursreceptie.
