I had a very good time at Central Lille.
I slept in a 6 bed girls only room. We had our private bathroom, with separate cabinet for toilet and shower. My bed was really comfortable, and I felt I had the required privacy. Next to the bed you have a charging place, also a jack for type C, plus a night light.
You also get a wardrobe and they sell padlocks for 5 Euros. Ofc you can bring your own.
They have a coworking space, an alcohol free bar and a pretty breakfast/hangout place.
The breakfast is not very rich, but their croissants and pan du chocolate are great.
You can also buy your own food and eat it in the breakfast area, so that might be a plus.
No problems with hot water. In the room was kind of cold but if you turn the AC on hot air, it gets better.
I was surprised to receive a towel, I wasn’t expecting that, but I guess that normal. The staff is friendly.
The location is centrally, you don’t have much to walk, so the walk home is quick and safe :).
I totally recommend the place, I was nervous a bit as I never truly travelled alone and stay in a hostel but this experience surely made things better.

Le cadre historique du bâtiment, il est superbe. Le bar cocktail est très agréable, on découvre tant d'alternatives à l'alcool. Les lits en alcôves sont très bien équipés(lumières et isolations individuelles).
Le bruit des portes des dortoirs, toilettes et douches qui claquent , peut être mettre des feutres pour ralentir le claquement des portes ou mettre des affiches pour demander aux utilisateurs de les refermer doucement.
L'anticipation pour l'organisation des petits déjeuners: il manquait une organisation plus efficace tantôt pas de pain, tantôt pas de café ,pas d'eau chaude,..
