Friendly host Sara. Quiet. Local shop and pub next door. Clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast - nice fresh fruit. All in all a great comfortable stay. Thank you Sara.

lovely location quiet and comfortable exactly what I needed

I know it is for fire regs but I'm from the country and even I have started locking my back door these days

Only a continental breakfat is offered but it is an extremely good one. Attention to detail is exceptional. There is a cafetiere and real coffee (!!) in the rooms, real milk in a little fridge, generous supplies of bottles water, fruit in the cosy lounge and endless care and assistance from the lovely lady who runs it. This place is a gem in every respect. The pub next door is like going back a century (in the best way), the locals very friendly and the village shop next door extremely well stocked and open 7 days. And then there's the village, the scenery, the atmosphere... Simply wonderful all round.

English breakfast is, to my mind expected in a b & b at this price but that's not a criticism, just an observation. I couldn't find fault if I tried.

Beautiful building with rooms decorated in a complementary fashion. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.

Only issue was the very noisy fan which we had to turn off.
