Not the traditional B&B but the Room, with a good ensuite, was comfortable, spacious and well appointed with M/Wave, small fridge and toaster. Lynne was an amiable and helpful host. DIY Breakfast provisions of fruit juice, cereal, fresh fruit and toast - fresh milk - were adequate if of limited variety.. General environment was excellent if to some extent weather dependent !

Nothing really though the disappearing and ever changing spoons were an amusement !

Great location and friendly staff. Perfect for walking and exploring the local area. Some great pubs nearby for good food.

Small breakfast but dictated by the room. Possibly some fresh orange in the fridge but this is only a minor point.

What a lovely little place. Great accommodation. We loved the courtyard setting which was ideal to sit out and enjoy a drink in the morning sun. Each room had everything you could need, spotlessly clean and very comfy bed. Location was ideal for our needs too. The breakfast was perfect for us and plenty of it. Thank you

Peaceful location. Nice views. Tidy. Modern decor. Bananas milk & tea fine. Local Pubs and people pleasant. Short walk from little shop bus & pubs.

Breakfast was just one loaf of White Hovis bread which had Best Before date as afternoon of arrival so it was out of bb date the following morning for breakfast ! I can not eat white bread only wholemeal but none avss available. Also a mini box of corn flakes each again they clog me up as no bran. We had expected ‘breakfast included’ to be a cooked English breakfast. But instead facilities to cook your own after a visit to shop. Worse thing was the plug in air freshener which we unplugged on arrival as these give me a migraine. Instruction info says not suitable for people with sensitivity to fragrance or possibly asthma so best not to put in room without checking guests ok with first!

The location was ideal for us. Very quiet and secure with lovely views and comfortable furniture. Very easy for a person with restrictive movement. There was plenty of space both in the living area and the bathroom.

The Wi-Fi was not very good and dropped out easily. The “continental breakfast” did not come up to our expectations. Only one choice of cereal, plus white sliced bread, were very basic. As a person with restrictive movement, I would have preferred a stool to be able to use in the bathroom as there are no support handles in the shower.

I honestly can’t fault it and would love to come back one day. Spacious room, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery/cutlery. Has a fan and assorted seating and storage. Great bathroom and shower and wonderful quality towels. Great breakfast stuff left for you and basically it had everything I needed!! Parking space and beautiful quiet location but near amenities Absolutely loved it

The room was spacious with clearly defined areas. It was equipped with microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, and the simple breakfast provided was welcome (with the opportunity of also having toast for supper!). We didn't see our hosts, but they had thoughtfully provided information on local pub menus and walking trails. We were told that the key would be in the lock upon arrival, however, we did end up calling our host to help us get in, but that's because we simply were not pushing the handle down hard enough (thought the door was locked!). Press a little harder - it's one of those UK doors where you have to lift the handle before locking, and push down past the lock resistance point to open... they're more basic where we are from in Australia! If you are tall, you may need to duck to get through the low door, but the ceiling height is normal once inside. It was lovely to open the curtains in the morning to see the horses pop their heads out of the stable doors. Plenty of parking on site. Altogether a great 2-night stay.

A great place to stay. Very spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. The facilities in the room were excellent including the "help yourself breakfast".

The guest room we stayed in was very spacious. Very clean and had everything we needed there. We would highly recommend and just a short car journey from all the main attractions.

Beautiful and peaceful. Clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the horses in the field. We ate outside in the sunshine, it was perfect.

Tranquille setting, never use a hotel again after visiting here. Its quaint, town is just as lovely.

33o and no air con, i did get two fans, but if you have heating for winter, why not effective air conditioning for summer. If i just didnt know about it apologies for this minor niggle.

Off road secure parking, room had everything you could need, spotless, plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes etc. Electric fan was a very welcome sight in the blistering heat wave. Very comfortable bed and pillows, lovely fluffy towels. Can walk to several pubs from the location, which was in a nice quiet spot. Great communication with Lynn. Would definitely recommend staying here. Liked the check in from and check out times too.

Car park large and secure but rough surface not ideal for motorbikes.

Everything we needed, a very comfortable stay. Nice quiet location, easy access, good parking, light breakfast was fine.
