Beautiful historic cottage pets welcome

We found this property well equipped, exceptionally clean. In a lovely location, opposite a church. Very quirky and historic. It's everything you want and need in a short stay house. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Location was perfect accept traffic noise but nothing you could do about that

Back garden area was over grown and. It tended to. No TV in the lounge which would have made it easier. The low bed in the first room was a bit too low.

Spotlessly clean. Good location, close to bus, train, town. Nicely presented.

Bumping my head on the very low door - ouch! The shower screen is unusual, but ok once you got the hang of it.

The beds were comfortable

You have to have a micro car to park in the space provided and be a very skilled driver.. this cottage is for 4 adults (4 people) the front room consists of a 2 seater sofa! With no tv in this room. Then down to the tv room consists of 2 bean bags not really comfortable for the over 50’s. We brought the garden chairs in with the chopped off arm rests!! Anyone over 5ft10 tall or less in places needed to walk around the cottage hunched in fear of bumping your head anywhere and I’m 5ft3. There’s shower you can’t actually stand up in without being bent in 2. There’s a microwave but with no vessel to microwave in.? In a day that now comes with plenty of expenses we tend to eat in and cook for ourselves.. pretty impossible with no measuring facilities. Toilet seats didn’t stay in place from the onset. No hanging facilities in the top bedroom just the small drawers in the bedside table. Made everything in this room really difficult to keep lifting the cases onto a bed with very little headroom on one side. You have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom and the bathroom so pretty difficult if you needed the loo in the middle of the night not to disturb the people sleeping in that room with the bathroom. All in all a tiring and uncomfortable short break. Except the beds were comfortable..
