Chapel Cottage

We had a wonderful three-night stay at this converted chapel cottage in Woolage. It was incredibly cosy, serene, and located in such an idyllic, quiet setting—plus, the little courtyard garden at the back was a lovely sun trap! The house was fully equipped with every amenity we could possibly need, and the host went above and beyond by providing extra essentials like dishwasher tablets, washing detergent, tea bags, sugar, and cooking oil, which was a very thoughtful touch. We also loved exploring the home’s history through the photos and items on display around the cottage. Finding the property was simple, and the instructions provided were clear. The hosts were fantastically responsive and easy to contact throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was a shame the local pub had closed and there was nowhere to eat unless you drove.

Mit ein bisschen mehr Maintenance und neuer Farbe hier und da in Bad und Küche wäre alles perfekt.

Everything. I loved how the decor matches the history of the property. Everything I need was available including cling film. The bed was comfortable, the living room space was comfortable. The area is so peaceful but also a short drive to Canterbury.

The parking space is a bit small, I would recommend parallel parking to get into the space. Instructions for rubbish at the end of the stay would be good. I was unsure what to do.
