Sofa bed in living room very uncomfortable

It was close to Dover port for an early start the next morning and it was a good size and kitchen was well equipped with kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine

It was top floor and about 6 flights of stairs which I hadn’t realised when booked and I have mobility issues so this was quite an issue. Wed requested a cot and one was supplied but there was no travel cot mattress and when owner was messaged we did get a quick reply and told the cleaner had advised there was bedding in the cupboard, but that was just sheets, no actual mattress, so the baby ended up sleeping on a quilt on the floor. We couldn’t find oven gloves.

53 stairs up to room, no elevator. Had to carry many bags. Entrance to building was dirty every day. Apartment was clean, but comforter in living room had dirty spots on it. Only two towels, one hand towel and one wash cloth. No dish cloth or towels in kitchen. Could smell cigarette smoke in the building entrance, stairway and apartment.

The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable. Communication was easy and instructions were very clear which we appreciated. Big kitchen, clean apartment.

The apartment building didn’t feel very safe since the front entrance door wasn’t locked. Unfortunately there was debris in the front entrance which made it feel uncared for as a first impression. The neighborhood itself felt very empty and rundown. It didn’t make us feel entirely safe to park our car on the streets but thank goodness nothing happened.
