Historic Dover Stay with Stunning Castle View

Unique place with lots of space and had everything we needed

Had a great stay, the location is fantastic, with a helpful and friendly host. This location is truly one of a kind, as the building is medieval and the history surrounds you at every step, outside, on the way to, and even inside the apartment, but with all the expected modern convenience. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view of Dover castle and surroundings. The building itself also has a museum inside it (through a separate entrance) which while small, was a really nice extra thing to add to our trip (and reading the Wikipedia page for the house you’re in is also great entertainment!). The apartment was stocked with all essentials like towels and toiletries, and even a nice range of tea/coffee and sweets. There was also plenty of convenient storage available. Another nice touch is that this very historic apartment had plenty of conveniently placed sockets for chargers and such. The location is very central, with shops and entertainment in walking distance. The only little flaw is that in the upstairs bathroom the basin tap is connected in the way where hot and cold water are reversed, so it took us a moment to realise that hot water comes out of the cold side. Liubov was a lovely host to us, she was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely book this place again.

Location was great, very close to interesting places (beach and restaurants), amazing view out the windows as well as the building itself we stayed in was stunning.

Some of the furniture in the upstairs felt more decorative than comfortable to sit on

Es gab für die ganze Wohnung genau einen Kochtopf und eine Pfanne. Die Wohnung hat auch nicht zwei einzelne Schlafräume. Es handelt sich um eine ein Zimmer Maisonette Wohnung, wo unten mit einer Trockenbauwand und einem Vorhang ein zweites Zimmer geschaffen wurde.
