Victorian Town House in the Heart of Dover

Location for pubs, shops was good. Beds comfy. Facilities fantastic.

It was very hot so would of been nice to sit in garden but this wasn't ready for summer as we hadn't booked to use the hot tub however garden should be accessible for all who visit.

It was a perfect Central location to be able to walk into Dover in the evening and a 2 minute drive to the ferry port for our early start. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, there was a fan due to it being the hot bank holiday weekend. Tv had disney+ for the kids

Its not advertised on Booking.com you need to request the hot tub atleast 24 hours prior to arrival. They advertise on air bnb which has more information and it would be a nice touch when a booking takes place and payment is made a welcome message is sent which I've had from other hosts to make sure nothing is missed.

Beautiful victorian home with so much character, was sad we only had the one night! Much larger than looks from the outside.

Only slight issue is the traffic noise but cant be helped

The size of the home is wonderful. I love the age of the building and believe it's one of the oldest homes in Dover...or something to that effect. The shape of the rooms and it's charm is fabulous. We had the lazy spa prepared, it was only half full which was funny - when we got in it we couldn't unclip the back of the hood so had to hold it up while we tried to relax. But it was fun drinking champagne holding the hood. You gotta see the funny side lol. The beds were a great size and comfortable, the lounge was very comfortable and relaxing. The house was decorated for Christmas which was lovely. The tree was decorated with lots of time taken. It was a shame not as much time was taken with cleaning the house...

...which leads me to the cleanliness of the house. Appalling. I can't comment positively about anything only that the lazy spa had (apparently as the chap called me and told me) been cleaned with clean water in and was up to the right temperature. From his positivity on the call I expected other reviews about this property to be false, but unfortunately not. There is hand sanitizer as you enter the property. Make sure you use it throughout your stay 😬
