Victorian Town House in the Heart of Dover

I liked the location, we had an early docking and it’s like 2 minutes from the port. Was a nice homey feel and smelled nice with the air fresheners.

The air freshener made a noise throughout the night.

the house is in an excellent locations located just minutes away (by foot) to shopping, beaches, the white cliffs and dover castle. the house was very clean and has great amenities. we really enjoyed the hot tub which was pre heated for us before we arrived. Despite a misunderstanding about arrival time, the helpful woman cleaning the house was very welcoming and accommodating.

Just to clarify, there are only 3 beds in total, that is 2 large king sized beds and one single bed. We came expecting enough beds for all four of us, as we were told that there was 2 single beds (we didnt want to share beds). One of us had to sleep on the couch.

Wonderful location and the home itself is gorgeous. Hot tub really elevated the experience and I loved the layout and just how spacious it was. Everything you need in the area for a visit including shops, takeaway, a big park, nightclubs and especially vibrant on Saturday nights. Beautifully decorated inside and the wifi is very fast, TV has pretty much everything you'd want including netflix which I thought was a really nice touch. Bed was cosy and clean, the place is honestly everything you'd need and a little extra. The big windows really make you feel like you're walking through a gallery at certain points downstairs and there's a little private outside space where the hot tub is located also. Bathroom was big and spacious and I enjoyed the whimsy of the showers specific design. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher, a big spacious modern fridge and freezer, lots of surface space to cook and the hosts were incredibly kind, attentive and lovely people who were quick to answer any concerns or questions i had. Over all really lovely, would stay again.

This is a bit nitpicky and I wouldn't discourage a visit based on this as i am aware they have a cleaner come in to do the cleaning, but certain surfaces were a little less clean than others. The bedside table had dust and some other debris scattered on it and I noticed quite a few of the cups, plates and cutlery were not washed properly. The bath tub had a similar issue. Considering this is a 3rd party problem and was easily solved using the utilities, I do not fault them! The only other thing i could say was a bit of rot/wear on the seal between the shower glass panel and the tub thats causing water to escape out the side. Honestly though, its still lovely and likely won't be the consistent experience.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht zum Schlafen dort. Die Lage ist top, da direkt am Fährhafen.!👍 Perfekt, um früh zur Fähre zu fahren., Die Betten sind bequem. Frische Handtücher waren vorhanden! 👍 Cafe direkt um die Ecke 👍und Parkplatz in direkter Nähe gefunden. Allerdings war er nur nachts kostenfrei, tagsüber nur für 2Stunden Parkdauer möglich... für uns ausreichend, da frühe Abfahrt. Schneller Kontakt zum Vermieter...auch um 22:00! 👍 Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank für Spätanreisende oder früh Anreisende. Den Zustand allerdings nicht überprüft, da kein Bedarf und siehe unten - schmutziger Kühlschrank Kleine Außenterrasse vorhanden.... Für Raucher gut Für eine Nacht ein super Preis!👍

Die Sauberkeit entspricht nicht meinem Standard. Der Kühlschrank war nicht sauber und die Fenster waren teilweise schwer zu öffnen bzw der Mechanismus defekt. Der Teppich im unteren Bereich ist ziemlich fleckig Ich kenne den englischen Standard in Bezug auf Sauberkeit und renovierungsbedürftig nicht... es ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.
