Cosy Home from Home near Holyrood Palace

I was impressed with the pleasing and functional the flat was for a small space. The kitchen was well equipped to cook at home. The flat had natural light and good ventilation. The washer/dryer was handy. The bedroom was cosy. Although on a busy street, the windows provided good sound reduction. And being on a busy street there were many bus options into the city and to other places. There was also plenty of grocery stores and restaurants/cafes nearby. All in all it was perfect stay.

No issues but it would be good to note that this apartment is on the first floor of a tenement building. And that is is quite dark on the stairwells because the lighting is on a timer.

Perfect location; well equipped kitchen, heating (very important for our stay, as Edinburgh can get very cold); very helpful staff, Overall rating 10/10

Lighting in the staircase - it automatically turns on after sunset, but when it is cloudy (most of our stay) it was quite dangerous walking up/down the stairs Both windows were locked, so the apartment can not be properly ventilated

Great location for walking in Edinburgh. Near Carlton Hill and easy access to Holyrood Park. Very close to supermarkets and various cafes. Clean, modern accomodation with great kitchen facilities. Perfect for a couple who might be visiting the city. Communication from Daniela and the team was excellent and all my enquiries were promptly answered despite it being over the Christmas period.

The radiator in the living room did not work and an electric heater was provided instead. I think the room would be a bit cosier with the radiator functioning. There is some noise from the road which is quite busy but this dies down later in the evening
