L'Escale Avignonnaise Magnifique appartement

Amazing central location very close to train station, restaurants, shops and historical sites. It was great being near the centre of the old city with everything a short walk away. The apartment is fantastic place to relax, cook and spend quality time with family members.

The downstairs toilet ought to have a small handbasin to wash hands in without having to walk to the kitchen sink. (There is adequate space if the empty shelves are removed.)

We hugely enjoyed our stay at L'Escale Avignonnaise. The host went out of her way to meet us at the city gates, to help us negotiate traffic restrictions and drop off our baggage ( excellent free parking is 20 minutes' walk, or 5 minutes in a shuttle bus, from the apartment). The accommodation was fantastic; the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, and all equipment was brand new; beds were very comfortable, with spotless high-quality bedding and towels; the location, right in the heart of Avignon, was within walking distance of all attractions - even for my 87 year old mother; and the apartment itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, with direct access to a lovely, private courtyard where there is a table for al fresco meals. We loved every minute of our stay, and I highly recommend this property for a family holiday.
