not too clean… have a look at my houseshoes..they where white when we arrived… some more drinking glasses wouldn’t be a mistake it was supposed to be smokefree, but there was a really intensiv odor of cigarettes difficulty to access the apartment because of name change of the appartment, which was not clearly noticable lack of instructions for locking the entry door of the apartment and for electronic kitchen equipment we left a day earlier

I love the location, the apartment was neat and warmly accommodating.

The location is excellent... we took a TGV from Paris to Avignon station and then the local connecting train (5mins) to the city center. Exited the train station and walked approximately 10 to our Airbnb. The bi-level unit was equipped with all the amenities one required. I only wished the shower had a partially enclosed glass door instead the shower curtain. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

No shower door. Not a big deal, just my personal preference.

Receiving the email about dropping off the trash the night before my departure. I would have preferred to have been given the instructions about the trash when I checked in so I could drop it off earlier.

An overpriced and oversold apartment in a handy location.

The bed was very comfortable and it is in a handy location.

The property was a tad oversold in the property description. The courtyard is a common area for the smokers so the double windowed doors give little privacy and the provided table was filthy. Smoke also fills the bedroom if you have the window open.Check in is late at 5pm though I was able to organise a slightly earlier time as the room had been cleaned. There were no washing up facilities like soap and sponges so it is hard to clean things…you are told to clean everything up and dispose of garbage before you leave. With the absence of cleaning goods everything seemed a little grimey. It is very overpriced for what really is a bossy airbnb set up. I had a much better stay in a much cheaper and friendlier studio in Avignon so the comparison was quite stark.

Absolutely great.

Excellent location, in the centre of Avignon but such a quiet and tranquil space. The property was clean & very well equipped. We liked the fact that the room opened out onto the little courtyard. Staff were very communicative and provided plenty of useful information.

The spiral staircase was and having bathroom downstairs at night- but we knew about this beforehand.

Great relaxing stay

Studio was a bit different from picture but still pretty, quite big, and clean. The apartment is a bit further away from the main city area, so it is quiet at night. There’s a kitchenette and fridge.

These apartments can be on the first, second, or third floors. There is no elevator.

Disappointed

It was clean

Smaller than I expected. Washing machine and tumble dryer listed as being in kitchen were not in the apartment, and neither were ironing facilities. No view. Very difficult access up narrow staircase and no one to assist with luggage. After a 6 day stay with all the garbage of that length of stay expected to carry it all down stairs and around a block to council garage storage.

Great location.

The studio flat is in a perfect locatoon to explore Avignon. It was in a safe and quiet steet. The city is steeped in history and culture. The flat was a bit on the small side and basic . The shower could do with an upgrade. But it worked perfectly well. The communication was excellent, and the hosts were very responsive and kind.

Adequate accommodation in an excellent location.

There was no breakfast but a kettle and basic cooking facilities. The location was very good, within a few minutes' walk of the main Avignon sights and places, and parking at Les Halles was only 3 minutes away. The room was clean and thebed was comfortable.

The apartment was a studio so space was limited with modest storage space and a rather minimalist bathroom suitable for slim people! While no fault of the owners, the little street seemed to attract people fond of loud late night/early morning conversations.

Chapeau to super host Joachim for a wonderful stay in delightful Aigues-Morte

Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to stay in the apartment advertised and Joachim very kindly offered me the use of a private apartment in his home that is normally kept for family use. It was a great place to stay, within the city walls and very handy to the town square with its numerous restaurants and cafes. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped (including an espresso machine and generous supply of coffee pods), a spacious living/dining room, compact kitchenette and large ensuite bedroom with an extremely comfy bed. Insect screens at the windows kept the mosquitos at bay and as a solo woman traveller I felt very safe and secure, both inside the apartment and out and about in the neighbouring area. Joachim is a thoughtful, generous host who even came to meet me at the rail station and my stay in Aigues-Morte was perfect in every way.

There was absolutely nothing I disliked although I found the shower a little tricky to operate until I was shown how it worked.

We spent three lovely days getting to know Avignon

A lovely apartment in a fantastic setting - so easy to get around. The owners were very helpful, keeping in touch and giving us recommendations for cafes and restaurants.

Inside city walls so easy to walk to food or shopping. Parking garage nearby was Les Halle which was fairly close and affordable.

You have to take out your own trash and do your own dishes which was really no problem anyways.

Mosquitos, broken air conditioning, sofa extremely uncomfortable, patio used for junk storage and dead plants, duvet not suitable for warm weather and no air conditioning, king bed much too large for small bedroom, instructions for arrival sent week after arrival. Tourist bureau had to intervene to help us find apt and occupy. Found owner/managers inept.

Paying expensive prices and the host expecting the guest to empty the garbage and take 150m to s public bin as well as having to strip the beds before you leave. Comfortable well located apartment

Good location. Nicely renovated, well located, attractive, older style comfortable apartment with windows that open into the street in a quiet street in the old city. 11am checkout time quite generous.

The rental agency could improve it’s general customer service. Firstly there was confusion over our apartment allocation. We were sent check-in details to a studio apartment rather than the larger one bedroom we’d booked. It was fairly quickly sorted out when the owner came on site but inconvenient and annoying after a long journey. We had carried our very heavy suitcases up several floors on a spiral staircase and then down again. The supply of basic catering provisions in the apartment was minimal - 2 tea bags, 2 coffee pods etc and when I inquired for more was told no. Prior to check out we received a series of messages: reconfirming our check out time, depositing all garbage from the apartment in municipal bins on the street, stripping the bed and piling up the sheets and towels, washing up all dishes. Hard to justify a cleaning fee in the booking!
