Easy self check in with instructions provided. Comfortable bed, good location, nice shower and very good value for money.

Decent budget stay.
Paid £67 for one night and was great value for that time of year. Room was clean. Shower and toilets were alright.
The room was very cold, tried turning the radiator on but it didn't seem to work. Shower door was broken. Bit of a walk from town but quiet location.

The room is spacious for the price and reasonably affordable. The bathroom is shared with other guests. The property is about a 15–20 minute walk from the city centre. At night, the main road and surrounding area felt quite dark and uncomfortable to walk alone. There was rubbish and broken glass on nearby streets, though not within the property. Communication was good before check-in but limited afterwards. The parking information was unclear, as I booked free parking but later saw a message suggesting a £10 daily charge. I was also asked to upload ID again before check-in, which felt unusual. From a female traveller’s perspective. I would not recommend this property for a solo stay.

Great, well priced room!
Great room for our stay in Cardiff. Really clear instructions of how to check in and good location with bus links into the city centre! Was very clean and had everything we needed.

Good central location and spacious rooms
The property was in an excellent central location. We had no problem finding free on street parking for 3 vehicles. The rooms were big and spacious and decorated nicely. There was good communication with the properties manager. The property was clean enough, rooms were clean but it could do with a deep clean throughout the main areas of the house. The property suited our needs and was good value for money.
Provide more toilet paper, especially for larger groups. Could be cleaned more thoroughly.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Good supplies. Comfortable.
Misleading information. In the booking all rooms are given as with private bathroom. Hut none of the rooms had private bathrooms. There was only one shower room with toilet and an additional toilet for all 5 rooms. So basically it was a hostel promoted as a guest house. Shared bathroom (one shower) for all the guests. We spent most of the morning waiting for the shower to be free. The 10 am checkout time was in reasonable and unrealistic. The person incharge was rude when we pointed out the misleading information on the booking about private bathrooms. He treated us like we don't know any English and gave a lecture on the meaning of the word "guesthouse". Not once did he apologize for the error. Unless it's booked as an entire house it is not suitable for booking. As there is only one shower. Even that was leaking everywhere so those who went to shower later had to swim to get to the shower. Management has not thought about the clients.
