La Nicolina

We liked the view, the decor, the central location, and even the washing machine. The apartment was well stocked and had a few snacks and waters which were terrific after a busy travel day. We highly recommend this sweet and comfortable property.

Świetny, uroczy, pięknie zlokalizowany, było w nim wszystko co potrzebne - nie brakowało ( co rzadko się zdarza) kosmetyków, papieru toaletowego. Była nawet kawa, herbata i rogaliki na początek oraz soda mineralna. Piękny widok z okna na morze, plaże i miasto.

Nie było takich rzeczy

Location was very easy to get to from train.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable. It might benefit from a mattress top.

This apartment is in an excellent location a short walk from the train or bus stop, directly opposite a pebble beach and on the beachfront. Up the street were many restaurants, cafes and shops. You could easily walk to Rappalo(2km) or to Potofino(5km) very scenic walks. The view from the kitchen window was amazing. The host was very generous with toiletries and supplies to make the stay more comfortable eg water, sweets, biscuits etc.

I would have liked to score this apartment higher however when we arrived there was a strong overpowering smell which was almost nauseating. We thought it was an air freshener that had been plugged in for too long but figured out when we went to bed that it was from whatever detergent that was used to wash the cover on the couch and the bedclothes. We didn’t have a great night’s sleep but eventually after leaving the windows open for 2 days the smell eased. This smell really spoiled our first day and night in the apartment and we were reminded of it throughout our stay - hopefully this is a one off as otherwise this is a fantastic apartment. There were 3 flights of steep stairs which could be challenging if you have mobility issues or large luggage but we didn’t mind them.
