Habeke Bothy - epic views - 700mtrs to town

It was a great location with a short walk into the main town area and the Queenstown attractions. It was a bit of a climb back up, but nothing that the average person couldn'g do. We walked into the centre most days. There was a shortcut to get down and back as well that was appreicatied. Everything that we could possibly need was there and this included washing facitilites, a knockout view, parking for a small car, basic items like tea and sugar and the heating was excellent. Being from northern Australia we really enjoyed the log fire each night and the electric blankets. The owners were helpful and checked in to see if we needed anything. Being a large family group of 4 adults and 4 children it was really nice to have an extra lounge area for the children that included games, books, colouring in pencils and a television. The property is on 3 levels and this does give everyone a bit of seperation if it was needed. We would certainly stay there again.

There is nothing bad to say about this property, it was outstanding and suited our needs perfectly.

Great location, on a hillside overlooking the lake and town. Very easy to walk into town. Brilliant property for a family. Very well equipped, very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend. The instructions how to get to the house from the owner were excellent.

Great views. Good accommodation for a group of friends travelling. Really close to everything you need in Queenstown. Good value.

Not really a dislike but it is a serious up hill walk to get to the apartment. There is a shortcut that reduces the walk. You do get good views from the balcony for your effort!
