Caution: Scam

We liked the description of the appartement, but unfortunately it turned out to be a scam.

When my colleague, for whom I had made the booking (using the field "guest name" foreseen for that at booking.com) arrived at the premises and contacted the owner, she was told the flat was not available for her and the owners only accept air bnb bookings, and are not on booking anymore. She was advised to contact the booking client service re technical issues. Thus she was refused to host her, although the flat was prepaid (full price for two nights - roughly EUR 350.00). They did not react on a message to refund the payment. Upon contacting booking.com for help, there is no reaction until 2 days after. Thus, we must strongly advise anyone not to book with this location, if you do not want to get scammed. Should there be a reaction within the set booking time frame of 6 days, and we get the money back (for the not used accommodation), we can of course remove this warning. We have proof of the above conversation on whatsapp.

Central but not great

Good location

It was quite dirty and desperate for modernisation to be a more viable place for travellers to stay. I saw 5x roaches during my stay as well… Not ideal

A very central and convenient location; could benefit from a few improvements

Very convient location for main train station. Comfortable bed. All basic essential facilites provided. Appreciated the flexibility of a slightly later check-out being offered, when asked (but make sure the electronic/digital access code validity period is also extended, so you can get back in!! - this was resolved promptly, but caused a very anxious half-hour!)

Curtains don't fully pull across to cover windows at night, so lets street light in and privacy doesn't feel great. Not sure about safety of electrics, with extension leads connected to other extension leads before connecting to devices. Geneva tourist travel card not provided despite assurance that it would be.

Central location near train station

No working internet Door not easy to find . No sign to say it was the right place . Front door smashed glass . Key pad lock not easy to use and I needed to call the owner as not present to meet greet and welcome without calling for help . A disappointing stay

Location location location! No, I'm not in real estate.

If you're looking for a studio with unbeatable access to public transportation and almost a perfect location-if only it was next to the lake jk, this place is a solid choice. Can't beat the price, especially in Geneva. Place was located within walking distance of major bus, train, and tram stops. Commuting is effortless exploring the city. Just buy a transportation card for 7/8 CHF per day with a Swiss half fare card. The studio itself is well maintained, and the space is more than enough for our 4 luggages. We never tried to cook, however, because of the amazing, highly rated restaurants close by. We wanted to try Swiss/local foods as much as we can. One thing to note is that the noise level at night can be noticeable due to its proximity to transportation hubs. It's literally next to the building, but it is generally manageable. It dies down after 11pm ish. Also, the curtains are not blackout curtains, so if you're sensitive to light and occasional light noise, get your earplugs/ eyemask ready. The floor creeks occationally, and some hallway noise as well. We stayed during a weekday, so noise levels went up slightly during AM rush hours, so we slept and got up early-problem sloved. Overall, this studio is a great option for those who prioritize price and accessibility. If you thrive in an urban environment and appreciate being just steps away from transportation, this place is well worth considering. I would highly recommend this place and stay here again!

Perfect place to stay if you don’t like the prices you n Geneva !

It’s a very good location ! It’s basic but has a kitchen which is perfect !!

It was fine, didn’t realise till we left there was pull down shutters to block out the noise . Also we had a lot of stress getting up bro the property as we was sent the check in details in French . Asked for English and ant more French details . Communtincation on booking . Com was terrible . Never had this experience before . But we had a lovely time .

Endroit avec un grand potentiel, mais manque un peu d’amour.

La localisation est vraiment super. Le bloc appartement est très sécuritaire. Appartement quand même assez grand. Le canapé est un plus comparé à d’autres appartements où nous n'en avions pas. Grand réfrigérateur avec congélateur. Cuisinière très pratique. Ventilateur efficace.

Il manque des portes serviettes dans la salle de bain. Nous avions une belle tv, mais pas de télécommande pour la faire fonctionner. Pas de mitaines de four, lorsque j'ai fouillé pour en trouver dans le tiroir du four, c’était très sale. Le meuble de la salle de bain est défraîchi, portes bancales et manque une poignée. Lumière de la salle de bain qui flash, poignée de la porte de la salle de bain qui a du lousse, on hésite à l’utiliser de peur qu'elle nous reste dans les mains.

No pudimos pasar.

Muy mala informacion. En primer lugar la dirección que dan en la Calle del Temple 22, no existe este alojamiento. Alli no hay nadie.

Esto lo venden como hotel y luego ni hay recepción y se basan en enviar mensajes al movil que a veces no hay buena cobertura. y resulta que la entrada hay que buscarla por otra calle. Un timo total. Tuvimos que buscarnos un hotel de verdad. Pido que me devuelvan el importe que me cargaron
