A Gem in Geneva.

The host was really patient and helpful and sent all the information on Whatsapp for me to find the keys and directions for the apartment. The property is located in the city centre and very close to the lake. The apartment was comfortably furnished with all the essentials needed for a brief stay. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine to use. The apartment was clean and tidy and felt homely. The bed was very comfortable and there was extra bedding if needed. The lighting was just right and I felt safe and secure. There is a lift to the 5th floor.

There were used bars of soap left in the shower which I threw out. The street was on the edge of the Red light district which wasn't a problem, unfortunately between 12am-5am the street was quite noisy with motorbikes and people shouting. This was only a problem at the front of the apartment if using the pull out bed. The back bedroom was perfectly quiet and very comfortable.

Disappointing

The apartment was, clean, a good size and well equipped. The communication with the owner was generally ok.

It was in the middle of the red light district with a working brothel a few doors away, a very poor location. It was described as having a balcony, which it did not have. The owner has advised that it had been removed during building work 6 months previously but the listing was not updated. It was described as having air conditioning which it did not have. It had one Dyson fan in the bedroom which the owner claims is an air conditioning unit which it is not, it is a fan. We found out after our visit that the washing machine is in the basement but no one told us that and it was not in the notes. The owner has not offered even a partial refund so I am perusing the matter with Booking.com and my credit card company

Good value for money accom in Geneva.

Good location close to centre of town, although we did appear to be close to the red light district. We were very near the train station which was important. Apartment is of a good size.

We didn't expect two of our hosts to great us from inside the apartment (I originally thought I'd walked into the wrong place). But once we knew who they were, they were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The picture in the Booking.com link does not match the apartment we were in, but that wasn't a problem.

Pratique, confortable, simple à gérer.

Logistique extrêmement simple et pratique (collecte et dépôt des clefs dans un commerce à 1 minute à pied avec des heures d'ouverture très pratiques). propre et bien équipé. Grand séjour.

Seulement l'eau chaude de la douche qui prend beaucoup de temps avant d'atteindre une température supportable mais ce n'était pas trop dérangeant. C'est franchement le seul point à améliorer.

Die Lage des Appartements ist sehr praktisch, nahe dem Hauptbahnhof und nahe dem See. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Das Bett ist bequem und man schläft gut.

Er was nog vuilnis van de vorige huurder. De sleutel moest ergens anders worden opgehaald. De douche deed er lang over voordat ie warm was.
