The property is not clean; smell from refrigerator; carpets had stains in both the rooms.

We were not informed about the change in security code for the key box. We tried calling the number as we could not open the key box with the code provided to us, only to find that they changed the pass code. This should have been informed in advance.

RUN AWAY -- DO NOT BOOK -- SCAM

This place is a SCAM. The owner/manager did not tell us any way to enter the building. Then they gave us an incorrect room number. We spent almost an hour outside on the street. I called the manager numerous times but nobody picked up. RUN AWAY and DO NOT BOOK. We eventually guessed which room was ours and essentially had to try a bunch of random room's key codes to get in. The manager never called back and we LEFT for a hotel down the street later that day.

The room itself was disgusting and unclean. Even something as simple as the kitchen chairs were broken and no WIFI code was given. There were stains everywhere and the room smelled badly. I highly recommend you RUN away from this very expensive booking. It is also notable that booking.com was absolutely useless in helping or refunding what this person stole from us. The room being crappy (which it is) is one thing, however leaving people out on the street for an hour without helping is completely unacceptable. When we (because even booking.com couldn't contact this guy) finally got in contact with this guy weeks later, he simply said "why didn't you call me?" as the reason for the chaos. I sent a screen shot of my many missed calls to his number and he never replied again. Booking.com can do NOTHING to help in this situation as well. I have never given a bad review for a stay at a hotel or rental. DO NOT BOOK

We enjoyed our stay in Geneva, except for minor issues.

Location, lots of shops, access to trams and trains,

Some obvious repairs required such as loose window frames and plaster damage to walls, gave a feeling of being unloved. Host did not respond to queries after our arrival, particularly about GTC cards for free tourist travel.

Disaster booking and decided not to stay.

Location

The carpet was extremely stained, the fridge door shelves were all broken, the crockery was chipped and cracked. The door leading out to a shared smoking area was a flimsy glass door that could easily have been broken in - we are not smokers and this was the only area to sit comfortably. The entrance was very poorly maintained and dark. Owner did not contact us even after we advised we weren’t staying.

Noisy, above a nightclub that doesn’t open until 11pm and doesn’t close until 7am. Needs more pillows.

Apartment had no soul. No one bothered to think about: places to hang four towels, furniture and surfaces to unload suitcases, wastebasket in bathroom, no decoration of any kind. It was very unfriendly and institutional.

There was a club below the apartment and every night a group played music that vibrated into our bedroom. The noise continued until 7am the next morning, and awakened us throughout the night.

Functional clean apartment close to satiation and the lake

located close to cornavin station with an easy walk. Lift for luggage was bonus. Clean swiss style with airy kitchen. Host responded when coffee machine not working by bringing replacement that was much appreciated

Little noisy late at night. Needed to close the windows to sleep. Apartment functional but no personality. More cutlery would be nice and a tea towel to dry dishes

T'he situation

There are not sofa, sofa bed, forniture to eat outside, pilows outside, plates, glasses. The terrasse door don't close as well. Broken chairs...

The apartment is in a quite area... about 15 min walk from the train station. Lidl supermarket is close by and kitchen is fully equipped. You can walk to the lake.

Exceeded our expectations, would definitely book again

I usually never write reviews, but this property has had a few negative ones so I felt obliged to write one. My two friends and I stayed for one night and were very happy. Unfortunately, the host did not reply to my messages, but when I called him, all my requests were dealt with (this is why I gave the lower review of the host). The apartment was easy to find, perfectly located for Geneva, decent-sized rooms, small but appropriate-sized kitchen and dining area and lovely terrace. It was perfect for us!!

Absolutely nothing major, but it would have been nice to have more towels and a quicker response to my messages.

Il fait le job, on en a pour son argent

La localisation quartier paquis très pratique. Une taille d'appartement respectable et équipé correctement.

La boîte de nuit juste en dessous pour le bruit toute une nuit (dimanche), l'absence de rideaux occultant. Le volet cassé et donc non refermable de la cuisine donnant sur une terrasse partagée. La literie très molle et l'absence totale de décoration (appartement sans âme). Odeur d'urine dans le couloir du RDC près de l'ascenseur.
