Thara Surf Inn Hiriketiya

The hosts are super friendly and provided an extra adapter for us and once when the lights went out in the whole village they brought us a big flashlight. The balcony is super cozy and an amazing spot to relax and enjoy the nature surrounding the stay.

Where to even begin…this place was absolutely perfect. The room had great AC, really comfortable bed and lots of space, a hot shower and spacious bathroom. The hosts were so incredibly kind; they left us umbrellas outside when it was raining, and when I was injured by a surfboard in the sea she offered to make me a healing Ayurvedic tea in the evening and insisted I call her in the night if I needed any medical assistance. What a lovely family and we really felt looked after during the stay. They also gave a gorgeous dog who guarded our room overnight by sleeping on our doormat outside, how sweet!! Would definitely recommend this to everyone in the area, a highlight of our trip!

Nothing, it was fantastic!

It was very clean and tidy. The rooms were spacious and there was space for us to lounge and vibe. We are a group of 6 and had a great time at the property, we didn’t want to leave. But most of all, the service was amazing. Mahesh the owner was very hospitable and he went out of his way to cater to our needs and inquiries. Amazing spot!

Ich hatte ein grosses Zimmer mit grossem Balkon und modernem Bad. Sympathische Extra: Trinkwasser, offenes Wohnzimmer mit Küchenutensilien (Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Geschirr, etc).

Es fanden Bauarbeiten statt, die teils geräuschvoll waren. Solche Aktivitäten wären besser ausserhalb der Saison.
