Hiriketiya Mahi Surf

The location is really good as it’s just couple of minutes from the beach it’s quiet and surrounded by nature. We had a room on the second level that had the option to have the AC for a bit more $, we used the fans and it was very pleasant, at night we would leave the windows open and sleep with the breeze and sounds of nature. The bed was really comfortable and a solid mosquito net (not even 1 bite), it’s got a private fresh brand new bathroom next to the room. There was another room in the second level but we never even heard the other guests, and a cute room in the first floor with a small gated garden. The whole house was very clean and fresh and just next to it you have the best massage in Sri Lanka (ask for Nilanthi). Last but not least the host was a legend, super friendly and very helpful, always greeting you with a big smile and a great attitude.

The room was spacious and came with a mosquito net. It was upstairs with a view of a lot of trees and in the morning you could observe all the birds and monkeys and squirrels - that was amazing.

I had to go outside of the room to the bathroom and the bathroom roof wasn't attached to the rest of it so there is a huge gap where mosquitos or other bugs or animals could get in. I suggested they add screening around it to allow for the sounds of the wildlife without the extra possibility of unwanted visitors.

Logement parfait pour 3 nuits, il est très bien situé avec la plage à 5 minutes à pied.
