A more modern style room than typical at this price point. Air con, two fans and high ceilings meant it was always comfortable. The balcony room has a small desk and the views from the balcony are nice overlooking greenery. Bathroom is functional, though small.
I personally didn't like the location. The nearby beach is very average and felt deserted at this time of year (early May). There isn't much around within walking distance, except for some very over-priced tourist restaurants. Dikwella town is also not that nice and very busy with traffic.

Un lugar maravilloso. La familia es muy amable. Nos lavaron la ropa a un precio bueno y con un muy buen olor y las instalaciones son muy limpias.

Lovely family made us very welcome. Delicious breakfasts. Large room and balcony. Kettle and fridge. Good Aircon.
Only one thing - some hooks in bathroom would have been useful. (But this applies also to most places we have stayed in Sri Lanka).
