Air conditioning did not work - Very hot room

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Cappadocia. We needed somewhere reasonably priced to stay as we had a late landing flight into the Kayseri airport. It's about a 12min drive from the airport. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was good and varied.

The biggest problem was that I had specifically booked a room with air conditioning and the air conditioning didn't work at all. What's worse is that the room was swelteringly hot, the control panel said it was 31 degrees C. The windows were latched and only opened about 10cm so there was no hope of much air from outside. It was really hard to sleep when the room felt like a sauna. The hotel tries really hard to be upmarket, and I think once it was, but now all the fixtures and fittings are now really tired. It felt like the staff weren't really expecting guests, and maybe the hotel was really empty cause when we walked into the breakfast room at 9am (breakfast ended at 10am), the ladies cleaning the room seemed surprised to see us and then continued to clean as we ate. It was unpleasant eating breakfast with the smell of cleaning detergent spray in the air. When trying to catch the lift back up to our room after breakfast, the lift opened to one of the staff in the lift, which was jam-packed with bedding laundry. The guy seemed surprised to see us there. We had to take the stairs instead. It was fine for one night (besides the heat) but I would not have liked to stay there a second longer than we did.

Die Zimmereinrichtung sehr alt.Die Gardine z.b. hingt auf halb acht. Das Personal nett und freundlich aber null Interesse dir zu helfen.Wollten eine 2 Decke haben ohne sich zu bemühen einfache Aussage haben wir nicht.
