Great 1 bed definitely not 2 bed flat

This was a very comfortable 1!! bed flat in a great location

It wasn’t a 2 bed flat as described. Our son had to use the sofa bed. The 2nd bedroom was separate from the flat accessed by a communal staircase. Totally unsuitable for our needs as our son is disabled and needs to be in the same flat as us!

There are several areas that could be improved.

The apartment has a good location with convenient surroundings. Overall, it is clean and hygienic. The rooms are spacious and bright, offering a comfortable environment.

However, the apartment as a whole is quite old, especially the bathroom, which shows clear signs of aging. The facilities are rather basic, and some equipment obviously needs to be updated or added. Given the current price, the value for money is not ideal. In particular, during hot weather, the apartment is not really suitable for staying. There is only one small fan in the living room, with very weak airflow, and no proper ventilation in the bedrooms or the separate room across the hallway. Since the windows must be closed at night to keep mosquitoes out, the lack of air conditioning or effective fans makes it uncomfortably hot, especially for sleeping. Moreover, there is no clear address or check-in information provided beforehand. On the day of arrival, we had to contact the host multiple times just to get bits and pieces of information, which was quite inconvenient and confusing. The service was minimal — for example, there was no clear instruction on how to return the keys at checkout. Overall, the current facilities and level of service do not match the price being charged. It was a disappointing experience.

Misrepresentation !

The main apartment was spacious.

How long have you got ? This is NOT a 2 bed apartment as advertised. It is a one bed, with a separate room (which has no facilities), along the corridor. The apartment was tired and not very clean. Oddly, it had soap dispensers in kitchen bathroom and toilet, but no soap. Then was over generous with 20+ coffee capsules...and a great coffee machine. I travelled with a friend who is a stroke victim. We expected two bedrooms. Being alone left her feeling vulnerable and anxious. There are major building works and they start at 6am on the building. I slept in the 2nd room and in the night then...sorry for the detail, get up, dress, unlock my door, lock the door, unlock the main apartment, use the loo....go wash in the bathroom (as there is bizarrely only cold water in the loo), leave the apartment, lock it, open my door, relook it...undress...get into bed. Oh, did I mention the steps between the apartment and the room I refer to as a cell, then strangely call 'the suite'. There is no wifi in this room so I had to turn on roaming in case my friend needed assistance.. There are also no cupboards to hang anything and most bizarre a marble fire place disassembled in the lounge. I booked this two months ago and then get awful instructions after the time I am due to check in...and then telling us we needed to transfer taxes and linen money......The apartment has no address details, just a street and then you are sent pictures. Keys and locks are very tricky and temperamental and two keys are identical which doesn't help( I tied some cotton on one to differentiate ). Rooms very not clean and had to make out own beds....which after days travel, was not a warm welcome ! A great location and lovey city, but fanrkly shocking facilities, lack of care, not as advertised and absurd for the cost.

Die große Wohnung hat viel Charme, ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gut zentral gelegen.

Nicht klar war uns, dass ein Schlafzimmer außerhalb der Wohnung ist, was dann doch kein Problem war.

É um apartamento excelente e intimista, bem localizado, bem equipado na cozinha e nos utensílios domésticos. Bons restaurantes ao redor e muitas atrações turísticas por perto, e perto também de supermercados. Foi uma estadia excelente.

Sehr gemütlich, zentrale Lage

Gute Lage zur Stadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Gent. Tram, Parkhäuser, Touristinfo in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Großes Restaurantangebot direkt in der Straße. Gut und ansprechend ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Kann man sich sehr wohl fühlen.

Die Geräuschkulisse von der Straße insbesondere in der Nacht ist weniger schön. Die Fenster lassen trotz Doppelverglasung Lärm durch. Ohrenstöpsel sind empfehlenswert.

Heerlijk genoten in een mooi stijlvol appartement in het oude centrum van Gent.

Het was een mooi stijlvol ingericht appartement. Het hemelbed in de aangrenzende slaapkamer was echter heerlijk groot en werd erg gewaardeerd door de 2 gebruikers van dat bed. De ligging is erg goed zo in het oude centrum, als je komt om Gent te zien.

Ik heb bij de bedden een matig aangegeven, en dat kwam omdat het appartement in de slaapkamer in het appartement ietwat smal was voor ons.

Ruim appartement pal in het centrum.

Heel ruim en licht appartement. Centraal gelegen in het centrum van het mooie Gent. Zeer vriendelijke en meedenkende host waar geen vraag teveel voor is.

Veel sleutels alvorens je binnen kan. 2de slaapkamer bevind zich buiten het appartement op de gang. Geen tv of radio aanwezig. Het appartement vertoont hier en daar wat mankementen maar heeft ons op zich niet gestoord.

Ruime appartement eens je het hebt gevonden.

Het vinden van de locatie en sleutels was een hele opgave. Dit kan zeker beter. Het appartement op zich was goed. Ruime living. Jammer dat je voor de tweede slaapkamer door de trappenhal moest. Grote keuken die goed was uitgerust.
