Centric Elegant & Private Terrace

De ligging van het appartement is heel goed tov het centrum van de stad en het strand, ook dichtbij vele leuke restaurants (als je niet in het hele drukke centrum wil) en koffiebars, lockers om bagage op te bergen. Het dakterras van het appartementje is heel aangenaam zitten en voldoende meubilair om zowel te eten als te chillen (loungeset) Airconditioning in het appartement werkte ook heel goed Binnengaan met code deur en sleutelkastje ook heel goed georganiseerd en makkelijk Water en een snack werden voorzien door de host bij aankomst.

Wat ik vooral heb gemist is een koffiemachine met pads, genre Nespresso/Senseo. Er was enkel oploskoffie of zo Italiaanse mokka pot wat niet handig is. Ook twee aparte handdoeken voor de beach voorzien, had makkelijk geweest. Jammer ook van het repetitieve geluid van de liftschacht op het terras. De lakens op het bed waren heel erg gekreukeld bij aankomst: dit geeft niet zo'n 'schone' /comfy indruk. Voor de rest vond ik de communicatie met de host (enkel via de booking app) niet zo optimaal. We hebben gedurende het hele verblijf geen warm water gehad in de keuken : afwassen ging hierdoor moeizaam. We hebben hiervoor niet echt een oplossing gekregen.

De locatie is geweldig! Mooie inrichting en schoon.

Er is best wat geluidsoverlast van buiten, het rolluik zou dit grotendeels tegen kunnen houden alleen was deze defect. Het contact hierover met de host was heel goed alleen ivm Pasen was er geen monteur beschikbaar. Er werd wel goed meegedacht door de host.

Very centrally located, nice apartment layout, calm building.

We did not receive any check-in instructions before our arrival, so we had to contact the host upon reaching the apartment to gain access. This was quite frustrating, as we wasted a significant amount of time standing outside, searching through emails for the instructions. Upon entering, we found the apartment in an unacceptable state. The floor had not been vacuumed, and the bedsheets and pillows had multiple small blood and yellow stains. The shower was not properly cleaned, with hairs on the floor and wrapped around the shampoo dispenser. Additionally, the showerhead was leaking. The couch had several white stains, and a vacuum cleaner was left standing in the middle of the apartment. The TV stand was cluttered with construction manuals, screws, and tools. To our shock, we discovered a surveillance camera in the bedroom. When we contacted the host, he explained that the camera was necessary to monitor the terrace door next to the bed and was only active when no guests were in the apartment. However, based on its placement, it directly faced the bed. Since it is a smart camera, there is no guarantee that it cannot be activated remotely. Knowing there was a WiFi-connected surveillance camera in the bedroom—whether active or not—made us extremely uncomfortable. At the very least, guests should be informed in advance that they will encounter cameras in both the bedroom and the entry hallway/kitchen.
