Apartment Mönch - GRIWA RENT AG

The apartment has an amazing, breathtaking view and an excellent location close to the town center. It is spacious, well laid out, and suitable for families, with one bedroom on the ground floor and two in the basement. The furniture is decent, and the apartment has all the appliances needed. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The host’s office is very close, and the staff were responsive and helpful. There is also a parking space in front of the apartment. Overall, the view makes it worth the price.

The floor was not clean enough, and one bedroom had a cigarette smell. There is no washing machine, and the dryer is shared with other apartments. Only one garbage bag is provided for the kitchen and one per bathroom, regardless of the length of stay. Additional bags must be purchased, although we were given two small bags for free. The bathrooms have no locks and there was not enough toilet paper. The pillows were uncomfortable, the ground-floor bathroom was small, and the balcony chairs were very uncomfortable. One balcony chair was broken, and my mother fell and was injured while sitting on it. There is no lighting on the balcony or in the basement yard, making these areas very dark. The nearby railway is noisy, with trains running until late at night and starting again at 5 AM.

Location close to the train station and main lifts, very clean, comfortable.

About a 15 minute walk to the city centre but very close to the Eiger gletcher bahn.

Exactly as described, very close to the train station. A very nice home.

Having to travel to a separate location to check in and check out is extremely inconvenient. Would highly advise this is changed. We could not get the hot water to heat during the day even with the manual switch.
