Great location and worth a stay with caveats
The size of the front room was perfect for our 4 year old to have enough space Everything was very clean. The kitchen was probably the most stocked I've ever seen in a self-catering! (aside from BBQ stuff - there is a BBQ there but the owner relies on the previous guests letting them know if anything low etc - as we found it this doesn't always happen. It's fine but just prepare before you start trying to light it that you have decent recent firelighters and matches etc.) The location is really great - literally 5 mins walk from Grindelwald Terminal where there is also a small convenience store Just across the bridge is also a restaurant which we ate at a couple of times. But away enough from the centre that it's reasonably quiet. We were not aware that the hot tub was for everyone until just before we arrived but we did use it once - luckily no one came around the corner in their towels expecting to jump in!
The flies! My goodness. I should imagine all properties in the area have the same problem but there really should be more to mitigate the issue. For example, at home we ourselves have fly bags that capture them (we also have a v bad problem so I have experience and perspective!) but one night we were rushing to get dinner down our mouths while my husband was on fly swat duty. It was just a bit much. Also,, bit of a weird one but the curtains don't actually fit the windows in that they are too small! Just need to be aware and careful as it's open access around the back (and we did more than once see some people 'exploring'). A curtain or something would also be nice at the kitchen window as it directly looks to a storage area where other people also have access. Maybe privacy just not so much of a thing in Switzerland and it's a cultural thing! But either way something to consider. One final thing - the beds were so uncomfortable and creaky :(

Perfect location for us. We parked our van and had a short walk to the train station. We appreciated how responsive and friendly the owners were. Very helpful.
Flies easily got in. Our unit had screens on most windows though.

Lovely property in beautiful location .
Ideal location with stunning views. Had everything needed for our stay in the property with an outside area to sit and have breakfast and admire the views. Also had ski storage and use of bikes if needed.
Had a problem with the tele accessing programmes but host did help to resolve this . Booklet with instructions for tele/ cooker would be helpful too. Need net curtain and another curtain in main bedroom to fully cover window as the one up didn’t cover full width of window. If this was sorted would solve privacy issue and sleep. This would then make the room perfect.

Excellent stay with value for money and an amazing location
The location is absolutely brilliant. The apartment is very spacious and well stocked. The owner is very helpful and always accessible. The beds are comfortable and kitchen is equipped. There is a hot tub and a small garden too. Highly recommended!
