Good location, close to the buss station that goes directly to the train, awesome local tips, extremely friendly staff. Loved the groove! Big, cozy rooms with mountain view, although it wasn’t specified! Shared refrigerator in the lobby downstairs and a bar that closes at 22:30. Amazing breakfast!
The cleaning service only came on the fifth day although it was supposed to come on either the second or third day of the stay. The buss stops going at 18:40 in the summer but it’s only 1.5 km to walk up from the station (which can add up if feeling tired after the day’s hike).

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made us feel very welcomed and really made the experience much better. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains. The included breakfast was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

It was the only affordable place to stay in Grindelwald. The bed and bedding were really comfortable.
It was so dark in our room. Could hardly see.
