Amazing value of a stay with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend it.

Parking was a little tight. But we did get a spot. You have to let them know ahead of time.

Great Stay

Nice breakfast, storage room for ski gear and room with skylight. Good value especially in Grindlewald area

Room was small and difficult to shower with the shower curtain blowing into shower due to the ventilation.

Good option in Grindelwald

It was raining when we arrived so we took a taxi. It is in front of a bus stop, but it was inconvenient to arrive with luggage while raining. It is a good 15 min walk uphill from the main station. The hotel was not busy so we got upgraded for a bigger room with balcony. It had a beautiful view from the mountains. Stunning actually. Very spacious room. Also bc it was not busy, they told us to take breakfast in a bigger hotel nearby. At first I was not very convinced due to the 10 min walk, but it was such a great breakfast that it was worth it. Overall I highly recommend the place.

we loved how it was further away from the station but not too far - only a 10 min walk from the main train station and the rest of town. was nice being further up the hill so we had good view. The staff were the most friendly and gave us great recommendations for around the town. Staff were always down for a good chat at all times of the day and the facilities and the breakfasts were all amazing.

because the building is older there are a few things that needed extra specification on how to use which was not outlined for us however after talking to the staff they would indicate everything that we needed to do.

Beautiful location with cool retro vibes

Really peaceful location away from the main town. Absolute VIEWS of the surrounding mountains from the balconies. Free breakfast was a great perk.

Extremely basic. I really don’t like it when I have to pay to change my towels or clean the room or get a tea out of the breakfast hour, found it unreasonable. Surely parking and breakfast were not included as well but that’s more common than not to include towels and room clean.

Nice view, quiet location and hotel, nice easy going vibe about the hotel, clean.

Nothing that stands out - it would have been nice to have an internal restaurant available in evening to create an atmosphere but not vital.

Attic room is really bad, no ventilation, no curtain

View: The view in the restaurant is nice. Location: good. There is a bus stop nearby, although the bus only runs until around 18:30.

There is a window in the attic room, but you CANNOT open the window! This made the room super warm in Summer as NO ventilation at all! There is NO curtain in this room! The daylight made me awake in the very early morning, I slept really bad.

The uniterupted view of the mountain

The very small tiny toilet, the uncomfortable bed and very unconfortable pillow, the unkept timber balcony that nearly fall off and the poor maintenance of garden. And it cost SF20 by taxi from Grindelwald Train Station.

Traditional, quaint, cute and perfect location

Traditional, quaint and cute. Felt like I was visiting family, but with all the usual hotel services. The location is spot on, only a short walk away from the centre and with spectacular views; the balcony is a shared space too. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the dog is an old gentle soul

Beds could do with being comfier. If you want something modern and high tech, this isn't the place for you. I personally loved being in a more traditional setting
