Nice place to have as a home base as you explore this beautiful area.

Gorgeous view and easy walk to the Grindelwald terminal. Our hostess was very friendly and gave us great tips on what to do. We were also able to do some much-needed laundry. We were very comfortable there.

The slanted roof is a bit of an inconvenience for tall people but I’d take that any day for the view from our top-floor balcony. Screens on the windows to keep out mosquitoes would be a good addition. Some of the dishes that were in the cupboard were not clean.

It was marvelous and didn’t want to leave!

It is the perfect location. Close to lifts, bus, and the train. The apartment has all the amenities for a great stay, the kitchen is equipped to cook meals and there is a nice size table to sit around. There is also toys and games for the kiddos to keep them occupied. Best of all, Marjorie is the perfect host; great to communicate with and always provides timely responses. She help us have the perfect stay……and oh yea there are the breath taking views from the third floor balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink!

The location is really nice. It is 15 mins walk from the terminal, and there is a nice kitchen to prepare meal with. The host is really warm and welcoming. She help us to get to the apartment on the first night, and some tips on visiting Grindelwald

Superb

Wow, the location was perfect for making the most of our 3 day Jungfrau Pass. It was so close to the Terminal Station. Marjorie was very helpful with our questions and telling us the best things to do. We were fortunate to see the Alpabfahrt (the cows returning from the mountains all decorated). The house was warm, cozy and clean.

a fantastic few days in a wonderful location

we loved Chalet Wargistal - it’s a lovely chalet, wonderful views and such a great location for accessing the chair lifts, gondola and trains. Marjorie was fantastic - gave us lots of useful information that helped make our stay!

The host was very welcoming, kind and helpful. Awesome view and location, so peaceful and beautiful. It was a pure joy to sit at the balcony and stare at the mountains Apartments are very spacious, cozy, clean and contained everything that needed. Beds are comfortable. Also there is a small private playground outside, our son liked it

Great location, great view and great host :)

The host is very kind and helpful. The location is brilliant, close to the train station and Eiger express, all within 10 minutes walking distance. Though there is a steep slope to the house, it definitely worth the view!!! In addition, the balcony has a great view of mountains.

Great for families with children!

The apartment is located on the top floor of the traditional Chalet, accessible through external staircases. It's very spacious, well equipped (family games, full automated coffee machine, raclette, fondue pot, dishwasher, toaster, etc) and has a direct access to the ski slope, providing there's enough snow. The host was very friendly, available, allowing us to check out at 5pm instead of 10am, which has made our short weekend longer! Thank you very much !

Durchaus wieder einmal eine gute Option in Grindelwald.

Prima Lage zum Eiger-/Männlichen-Skigebiet und zum Bahnhof Grund. Wohnung zwar etwas älter, aber angenehm und mit Charakter. Sehr freundliche, entgegenkommende und unkomplizierte Vermieterin. Guter Kaffee-Vollautomat! :-)

Kontaktaufnahme nicht vom Handy möglich. Wohnung ist, wie korrekt ausgeschrieben, nicht besonders geräumig und hat daher etwas wenig Stauraum und Hängemöglichkeiten – war aber auch mit 5 Personen okay. Abfluss in der Dusche ist rasch verstopft. Bratpfannen alt und zu klein.

Séjour inoubliable dans des paysages à couper le souffle

Nous avons passé un séjour de Noël en famille inoubliable au Chalet Wärgistal. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé et très cosy, nous n'avons manqué de rien et nous sentis comme à la maison. Grindelwald et plus généralement la région de Jungfrau est à couper le souffle. Chaque paysage est une carte postale. Nous avons pu skier, faire de la randonnée et de la luge—il y en a pour tous les goûts. Concernant la localisation : le chalet est un peu en retrait de la route, mais les paysages en valent absolument la peine. Comme indiqué par d'autres voyageurs, il faut tenir compte d'un petit chemin enneigé et pentu à monter et descendre à pieds—pas idéal pour des personnes à mobilité réduite, mais nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Le cœur du village, plus animé, est de l'autre côté de la vallée (20-30min à pieds), les alentours du chalet sont donc très calmes et reposants. La localisation est très pratique, à moins de 10min des remontées mécanique et de la gare Grund—on ne peut espérer mieux. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de faire de grosses courses, ce qui aurait pu être un peu plus compliqué peut-être car il n'y a pas de supermarché à proximité immédiate, et l'accessibilité en voiture n'est pas toujours garantie—à prévoir, donc. Notre hôte Marjorie a été très réactive et disponible durant tout notre séjour, et ce malgré la période de Noël. Elle a tout fait et organisé pour que nous passions un séjour magique. Merci infiniment. Nous espérons revenir !
