Top view villa

The view of the ocean is wonderful. You have direct access to the beach but you have to walk a bit to reach an area in which you can swim. The host was very helpful with getting our luggage up the stairs and offering us fresh and cold coconuts on arrival. There was also an incident that we ran out of water but the host was very prompt in fixing it and offered us compensation as well.

There are a lot of stairs and they are very steep. The layout of the apartment is a bit misleading since the second bedroom is actually in the living room and separated only by a curtain, which could work for a family, but maybe not for 4 adults. The bathroom seemed unfinished with no tiles and there was not a toilet brush holder, the brush resting directly on the floor. We were a bit unlucky since on Saturday there was a festival in the park nearby and the next night there was an impromptu party started by a tuktuk stoping in front of the villa so it was very loud and difficult to get to sleep these 2 nights.

The location, perfect for our early morning walks along the beach.

Two flights of steep stairs. Not good when you’ve got 2 older people with : 1 x large suitcase 1 x medium suitcase 1 x cabin suitcase + a couple of accessories 😂 As we got there early & the property was still being cleaned, we dropped our suitcases off. The kind young man carried them upstairs for us, (which to us was a god send) None of this put us off, we stayed another 9 nights & the young man carried the large suitcase down the stairs for us. We had to buy a can of mozzie Mortein spray as we kept getting bitten. This property has a lot of potential just needs a deep clean & a little T.L.C. Would recommend it for a family, definitely not big enough for 4 adults. This is not ment to sound harsh, just truthful, we would stay again 😎

Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet mit kleiner Küche mit Kühlschrank und Töpfen und Geschirr sowie Gläser. Die Lage am Strand war auch sehr gut.

Das Duschwasser wurde nicht wirklich warm und das Fenster zur Terrasse könnte mal wieder geputzt werden. Das Waschbecken im Badezimmer Hang auf halb acht. Es gibt nur eine Fernbedienung für zwei Klimaanlagen in unterschiedlichen Schlafzimmern. Am Ende wurde auf die Mietkosten von Booking noch eine Bearbeitungsgebühr i.H.v 10 % aufgerechnet, ob dies so richtig ist bleibt fraglich.
